On the night of July 7, a very difficult situation developed in the Kuban, where a huge number of people who were left homeless suffered as a result of the flood. To help Krymsk, a charity auction was held, thanks to which it was possible to collect a certain amount of money and send it to the victims.
The charity auction took place in Moscow, on the summer terrace at the Tverbul restaurant. The event was organized by the owner of this institution, Ksenia Sobchak, in cooperation with the Fair Life Foundation, Elizaveta Glinka, who is popularly known as Dr. Lisa. Precious and semi-precious jewelry belonging to Ksyusha's friends - Polina Kitsenko, Natalia Vodianova, Miranda Mirianashvili and Ulyana Sergienko - were put up for sale at the auction.
At the entrance to the posh restaurant "Tverbul", wreaths of flowers were sold for charitable purposes at an affordable price of two thousand rubles. More generous guests could buy baskets with berries, the price of which was five thousand rubles. The proceeds were sent to the victims in Krymsk.
This event was attended by: Ekaterina Odintsova - TV presenter and journalist, Lyudmila Nerusova - mother of Ksenia Sobchak, famous designer Masha Tsigal, Natalya Sidneeva - General Director of the Dozhd TV channel, Polina Kitsenko - socialite and owner of fashion boutiques, designer Ulyana Sergichenko - Mikhail Kusnirov the head of Bosco, singer Miranda Mirianashvili and other famous personalities. Igor Vernik and Ksyusha Sobchak participated as presenters. Before the start of the auction, Ksenia announced the exit of the singer Sati Kazanova, who sang a Kabardian lyric song.
The first lot was earrings with pearls from Yana Raskovalova, who is a famous jewelry designer. The hosts of this event exhibited earrings at a starting price of forty thousand rubles. Earrings went to the first deputy prime minister of AFK Sistema, Anton Abugov, who immediately offered half a million rubles. Then the bracelet of Miroslava Duma was put up for auction, which was eventually sold for five hundred thousand rubles, as well as a platinum ring with many diamonds.
As a result of the charity auction, it was possible to raise a little more than sixteen million rubles. By the way, this is the second such auction, a little earlier, more than eight million rubles were collected by the Red October gallery. Famous contemporary artists Alexander Vinogradov, Sergey Bratkov, Semyon Faibisovich, Alexey Kallima, Vladimir Dubossarsky and Oleg Kulik and young authors Valery Chtaka, Arseny Zhilyaev and Yegor Koshelev exhibited their works. In total, about fifty works participated in the auction. All collected money is transferred to the accounts of organizations that provide assistance in the disaster zone.
