Step 1
If an accident occurs on the road, you must immediately stop the car (if it has not stopped moving due to the impact). Sometimes you can close your eyes to a minor accident (for example, a light touch of bumpers). In other cases, you need to call the traffic police inspector.

All over the world, emergency services are called from a mobile phone at 112. It is important to know that this call is possible even with a negative account balance, with a locked keypad and in conditions of a very weak network signal. Dialing 911 will automatically route the call to emergency services. But number 02 can only be called from a stationary (home) device or an outdoor payphone (which also will not ask you to pay for making a call).
Step 3
Tell the operator the reason for the call (traffic accident) and the address of your location). The attendant will ask you if there are victims, if the roadway is busy. If the answer to both questions is negative, please be patient - inspectors first of all go to accidents that interfere with traffic.
Step 4
Never, even in case of extreme fatigue or haste, do not leave the scene of the accident! This momentary weakness can cost you dearly - up to and including criminal liability. An exception is leaving the scene of an accident in order to call emergency services (if it is not possible to call on a mobile). If the driver makes a call and returns, there is nothing illegal in his actions.
