Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is the current president of the Russian Federation. However, he is not only a successful politician, but also a popular person, whose private life is always of genuine interest. Many want to know with whom, how and, most importantly, where the president of Russia lives.
Life before moving to Moscow
Vladimir Putin lived and built a career in St. Petersburg for a long time. In the northern capital, he lived with his family in an ordinary apartment, which is located on the second line of Vasilievsky Island. The area of the apartment is 77 m2. This living space is still the property of the Putin family, however, arriving in St. Petersburg, the president stays at his residence. In 1996, Vladimir Vladimirovich and his family moved to Moscow, since the head of the family was appointed to the position of deputy head of the president's affairs.
Moscow apartments
A meteoric career in the capital saw Putin soon take over as prime minister. After that, Vladimir Vladimirovich was provided with an apartment in an elite building on Akademika Zelinsky Street in house no. 6. Among the neighbors of the Putin family were a large number of politicians of that time. There are 90 apartments in the building.
Until now, this red brick house in a prestigious area of Moscow is inhabited by officials and their families. It was there that the Putin family lived for a long time. It should be noted that this house is far from simple. It is a secure hideout with several levels of protection. Among other things, the house has bulletproof glass. In Moscow, Vladimir Vladimirovich is still registered in this apartment, although he has not lived there for a long time.
In 2000, Putin was elected President of the Russian Federation. In the same year, he moved to the residence, which is located in Novo-Ogarevo. These luxurious apartments are located on Rublevo-Uspenskoe highway. By the way, this direction is known for its traffic jams precisely because the presidential motorcade rushes along it every morning.
The Novo-Ogaryovo residence serves not only as a home for the president, but also as his workplace. It is not uncommon for him to receive high-ranking guests here, and also holds various working meetings. For comfortable rest and work in the residence there are several buildings, including a special house for receiving guests, as well as a house for their residence. In addition, the president has an equipped gym, a swimming pool, a cinema, his own stable and even a chapel.
Of course, more time V. V. Putin spends in Moscow, so the residence in Novo-Ogaryovo is considered to be his main home. However, in addition to this luxurious place, the current president of the Russian Federation has additional residences in different cities of Russia, where he stops during a visit to a particular region.
