Any member of the United Russia party can leave the United Russia movement of his own free will, this is provided for in clause 4.3.1. Of the party charter. It is worth remembering that a person who has made a decision to voluntarily leave the party cannot rejoin within three years from the moment of leaving it.

Step 1
The first step towards voluntary withdrawal from the United Russia party is to write a statement of withdrawal. The application is drawn up in writing and written to the secretary of the primary (local, regional) branch of the party. In this statement, it is not necessary to indicate the reasons that prompted the party member to decide to withdraw from it, but if desired, they can be listed. The application for withdrawal from the party must be signed by the applicant with his own hand, the date and place must also be indicated.
Step 2
The application for withdrawal from the party, signed by the applicant, must be brought to the primary (local, regional) branch of the party at the place of permanent residence of the party member. It is also necessary to bring the party membership card to the party office, which must be returned.
Step 3
At the party branch (primary, local or regional), an application for withdrawal from the party is accepted and registered. The Charter of the "United Russia" states: "The termination of membership in the Party comes from the date of registration of this written application in the corresponding primary (local, regional) branch." From this moment, all party powers as a member of the elected governing and central bodies of the Party and its structural subdivisions are terminated. Also, a citizen loses his rights as an active party member and ceases to bear the corresponding duties.
Step 4
If for some reason the application for voluntary withdrawal from the party was not registered and was not entered in the register, you must re-write it and make sure that it was accepted (write down the incoming document number, make a copy with a mark of acceptance).
