United Russia has a charter, according to which anyone can leave the party at will. However, one should not think that the leadership in this case does not provide for any restrictions at all: a person who leaves the party will be able to join it again only after a three-year term.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a desire to quit the party, then first of all you must write a special statement. Please note that it is drawn up only in the name of the secretary of the nearest branch of the party (for example, regional or local, if any). At the same time, it is not at all necessary to indicate personal reasons that prompted you to abandon partisanship. Although, if you want, you can still enter them in the application. Do not forget to sign, date and personally sign the paper.
Step 2
Then take the application directly to the party office located at your place of residence (if there is no local one, then go to the regional office of United Russia). Be sure to take your party card with you, as you will have to surrender it when leaving the party.
Step 3
As soon as your application is registered with the relevant authority, you will cease to be a party member. Thus, all your rights as a protagonist of United Russia will end, as well as you will lose all party powers and cease to fulfill the duties previously imposed on you as a member of the elected central and governing body of the party. This is stated in the Party Charter.
