People's Artist of Russia Larisa Reginaldovna Luppian is better known to the general public as the wife of actor Mikhail Boyarsky, although she positions herself as an independent creative person and a theater actress, while she believes that self-sufficiency is not a reason to say that a woman does not pay attention to her family.
Larisa was born in 1953 in Tashkent, in the family of a hereditary nobleman with Estonian and German roots. From an early age, the girl dreamed of becoming an artist, and her wish came true very early: at the age of 9, Larisa played the role of Dzidra in the film You Are Not an Orphan. Even then, the girl liked the atmosphere of the set, and after school she entered LGITMiK.
Career in theater and cinema
Their course was organized at the Lensovet Theater, and first-year students began to go on stage. Basically, it was an extras, and Larisa was entrusted with a serious role already in the 2nd year.
After graduation, she began to play at the Lensovet Theater, and very soon became a leading actress. She performed the main roles in the performances "The Eldest Son", "Troubadour and His Friends", "Threepenny Opera", "Last Summer in Chulimsk" and others.
Then there was a big break in her acting biography: director Igor Vladimirov did not give Luppian roles for six years. She still does not understand why this happened. One can only guess that this could have happened due to jealousy of the fame of Mikhail Boyarsky, who at that time was already Larisa's husband and was at the peak of fame. Or he simply played the authoritarian approach that is adopted in the theater, when the director alone decides who to give which roles.
One way or another, since 1986, Larisa Luppian began to play at the Lenin Komsomol Theater. However, three years later, Igor Vladimirov asked Larisa Reginaldovna to return, and she agreed. Since then, everything has been great in her theatrical career - she has a lot of roles in a variety of productions.
The cinematic biography of Larisa Reginaldovna is not very diverse. The most famous paintings: "Late Meeting", "Bouquet of Mimosa and Other Flowers" "Crying Forward" and "The Musketeers Twenty Years Later."
It was expected that the picture "Late Meeting" would make the artist popular, but there was no breakthrough: there was neither deafening fame, nor many offers and new roles in the cinema. Today's critics highly appreciate this film, and at that time it was, apparently, too "impressionist", so it did not achieve recognition. And only a few years after the premiere, the painting "Late Meeting" became popular.
Larisa Luppian also has experience of working on television: she acted as the author and host of the Teatralny Binoculars program.
Currently, Larisa Reginaldovna works on the stage of the Lensovet Theater.
Personal life
Larisa Luppian got married once - for Mikhail Boyarsky. Although their relationship for a long time was only professional, because they played on the same stage. Mikhail and Larissa became friends with the play "Troubadour and His Friends". They saw each other in a completely different way, not the way they had seen before. After some deliberation, they got married - the wedding took place in 1977.
The couple had children: son Sergei and daughter Lisa. The son became an economist, although the creativity in him is also manifested - he writes songs and poems. And Liza Boyarskaya is now a well-known actress.
Both the son and the daughter gave their parents grandchildren.
Mikhail Sergeevich says about his wife that she put her career on the altar of the family. However, Larisa Reginaldovna does not agree with this and plans to continue to be realized in theatrical creativity.
