Biography
The actress was born and raised in St. Petersburg. Her childhood was spent during the blockade. Then the girl lost most of her relatives. The grandmother and the father died of hunger, the elder sister died. Larisa and her mother miraculously managed to escape and leave for the Kemerovo region. There they could feel safe. Later there was a move to Tallinn to live with a distant relative.

Larisa Luzhina was married four times. She lived with her first husband, Alexei Chardynin, for seven years. In her second marriage with Valery Shuvalov, the actress gave birth to a son. The husband was mainly engaged in raising the child: Larisa did not want to take a break in her career. The actress left Valeria because of the romance with the screenwriter that captured her. She lived with Vladimir Gusakov for 10 years. Vyacheslav Matveev became Luzhina's last husband, but family life did not work out with him either. She filed for divorce after the man lost his job. Now the actress lives alone and does not maintain relations with her ex-husbands. The son has his own family and children.
