Olga Bogdanova is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, known to viewers from the TV series Voronins, Cossacks-Robbers, Little Things in Life, My Favorite Witch and many others. Since 1998 - People's Artist of Russia.
Childhood and adolescence of the actress
Olga was born in the small Moldavian village of Skuliany in August 1951. My father held a high position in the administration, and my mother was engaged in raising two daughters. A talented and intelligent mother was a very creative person, and she passed on her love for art to children.
Bogdanova Olga Mikhailovna graduated from school with a gold medal, and the teachers noted in her aptitude for the exact sciences. The schoolgirl's scientific articles were even published in local newspapers. The surrounding people predicted a rich scientific career for the girl. But she chose a completely different path for herself.
Together with her friend, the young provincial went to conquer Moscow and from the very first attempt entered the famous Moscow Art Theater, which she graduated with honors, simultaneously finding herself a husband and a real friend, Stas Sadalsky and starring in two works - in the episodic role of Gaidai's cult picture "12 chairs" and playing an unnamed Komsomol member in Gerasimov's film "To love a man."
Creation
In 1972, after graduating from the Moscow Art Theater, Olga got into the famous Sovremennik, but stayed there for only a year, being in the composition, but not getting a single role. As she herself says, one influential actress was passionate about her husband and did everything to eliminate her rival.
A year later, which did not bring the actress any work either on the theater stage or in the cinema, Olga moved to TSATRA, where she immediately got a role in the debut production of the young director Morozov, who today holds the post of the chief director of this theater. To this day, Olga Mikhailovna Bogdanova performs in performances on the stage of the Theater of the Russian Army.
In 1973, Olga Bogdanova was invited to take part in the filming of a film based on the "adult" book about the war by children's writer Agnia Barto "Find a Man". The actress played a minor character, the weaver Lyuba. By the way, in the same film, the debut of another famous actress, Liya Akhedzhakova, took place.
Further, up to 1979, Bogdanova performed exclusively in the theater, and in 1979-80 she starred in several films at once. Together with other actors, Olga often toured the hot spots of the world: Afghanistan, Chechnya, Mongolia and others.
After the collapse of the USSR, the actress increasingly takes part in the filming of serials, broadcasts various programs and is engaged in social activities. Olga has remained faithful to the theater, in which she has a rich stage biography and is rarely filmed. She has 16 films on her account, and the actress has no doubt that others will appear.
Personal life
Bogdanova was married three times. With her first, however, common-law husband, Valery Chemodanov, she met in the hostel of the Moscow Art Theater, where all nonresident students of acting schools of the capital were settled. Valery was surprisingly handsome and had an amazing voice. In 1974, at the all-Union competition, he received the first prize, while Pugachev - only the third. But soon fame turned his head, the singer got into a fight, went to jail and did not make any career.
The second love of the star of the theater of the Russian Army was a colleague, Alexander Mikhailushkin, at that time married, with whom Olga lived for 22 years. Having learned about her husband's infidelity, she quickly divorced him. The third choice of the actress was Vitaly Bigeyev, a promising actor and producer, whom the star married in 2001. Olga has no children, but she believes that the main thing in life is to give joy to people with her creativity.
