The road to the wide screen began for Viktor Verzhbitsky with filming in commercials. Now this may be surprising, because it is simply impossible to imagine modern cinema without the heroes played by Verzhbitsky.
Behind Viktor Verzhbitsky's shoulders there are almost a hundred roles in cinema and theater. But he began his ascent rather late - the roles that made him famous appeared only at the beginning of the two thousandth. Prior to that, Victor was filmed, but so far only on the sidelines. Although, thanks to his acquaintance with the director Timur Bekmambetov, Verzhbitsky began acting quite early.
Childhood behind the scenes
In general, the fact that he got into the movies is quite natural. Victor was born in 1959 in Tashkent. And don't be confused by the Polish surname - he got it from his grandfather, a purebred Pole. The boy's grandmother, with whom he grew up, worked in the theater as a costume designer, so Victor spent his childhood in the theater backstage. And after school, Verzhbitsky does not hesitate for a long time and submits documents to the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. True, to the stage design department. There he meets Timur Bekmambetov, who will make Verzhbitsky really famous. But for now, the actor went on stage in his native Tashkent at the State Academic Drama Theater. Moreover, he is noticed in the capital and is constantly invited to leading theaters. As a result, Verzhbitsky accepts the offer of Lvov-Anokhin, in 1996 he moved to Moscow and entered the troupe of the New Drama Theater. By this time, the actor had already managed to star in his first big movie - Bekmambetov invited him to "Peshawar Waltz". But the main shooting took place with the same director, but in commercials. In 2004, Victor waited for a starring role in Bekmambetov - he played Zabulon in "Night Watch". After the release of this picture, Verzhbitsky no longer had problems with getting roles. Moreover, the theater gradually faded into the background.
On the stage
But it happened even earlier, when the actor accepted the offer of Alexander Kalyagin and went to his theater "Et cetera". But after several years of successful performances, Kalyagin brought Verzhbitsky out of the state, "jealous" of success in cinema. But Verzhbitsky did not remain without work, and moved to serve in the Moscow Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin, where he currently plays. At the same time, he also acts as a guest actor, for example, Verzhbitsky can be seen on the stage of the Theater of Nations in the play "Ivanov", where Chulpan Khamatova and Yevgeny Mironov became his partners.
But the actor's personal life is a big secret. First, he does not say anything about his parents and relatives. He is divorced from his first wife, she lives with her common son Alexander in Israel, where Verzhbitsky flies regularly. The second love and spouse of the actor is not connected with the cinema, is engaged in business, and it is not even known whether there are common children in the family.
