The life of Svetlana Kopylova resembles a roller coaster ride. She is constantly trying something new, looking for new ways of expressing herself. From the outside it may seem that everything is given to her without difficulty, but this is far from the case. Any of her steps is either a meaningful, balanced decision, or an impulse of the soul. When she followed reason, and when feelings, now Svetlana herself cannot answer.

Biography of Svetlana Kopylova

The future actress and bard in the style of "parable" was born in Irkutsk on February 22, 1964. Little Sveta's mother was a simple draftswoman. The girl did not know her own father at all. He was replaced by her stepfather Sergei at the age of 5. The man gave the baby everything that the father had to give - love, support, education. Svetlana still remembers him with great gratitude.

The girl was artistic from early childhood. She loved to perform Vysotsky's songs for her household members - mom, dad, grandmother and aunt - and did it so artistically, from the heart, as if she understood the whole essence of the works.

But after graduating from an incomplete high school, Svetlana entered the aviation technical school. She received advice on choosing a professional path from her relatives, their opinion was very important to her. She honestly mastered the subjects of her course, but did not get satisfaction from the new knowledge. Only in her third year she "found herself" when she met her first lover, who was the leading actor of the Irkutsk Youth Theater. The theater absorbed her, occupied all her thoughts. But she was not admitted to a specialized educational school in her hometown, considering she was not talented enough.

Svetlana Kopylova's career

In Moscow, they were more supportive of Svetlana Kopylova - after the first audition, she became a student at the Shchukin School. Success inspired the girl, she became significant not only for herself, but also in the eyes of her lover, which was very important for a girl in love.

Her acting talent was undeniable. Proof of this - invitations to act in films, which literally fell on the charismatic student of "Pike". As a first-year student, she starred in a film directed by Rybarev called "The Witness." The first picture was followed by others, but the real breakthrough in cinema for her happened in 1988, after the role of Lena in the film "My name is Arlecchino".

Together with Svetlana, the beginning actor Oleg Fomin was filmed in the film. It would be difficult even for experienced actors to play in such a complex drama, but the young people did an excellent job with the task set before them. This work was the finest hour for both of them.

Until 2007, Svetlana Kopylova was quite active in films. Critics praised her work in the films "Foofel", "Midnight Blues", "The Witness" and others. But Svetlana was more and more fascinated by the song. As a result, she decided to finally connect her life only with the stage.

Music and songs by Svetlana Kopylova

Music has always been a part of Svetlana's life. As a child, under the influence of the songs of Vysotsky and other bards, she began to create her own compositions, based on her own poems. The first professional opinion about her work was expressed by the famous composer and poet Valery Zuikov. He helped the girl rebuild her works for the stage, transforming them from compositions for a close circle into compositions for a wide audience of viewers.

In 2006, Kopylova released her first studio album of parable songs called "A Gift to God" and gave her first concert "Meeting with Svetlana Kopylova at the Slavic Center". And this was only the beginning of a long and successful journey that critics predicted for her. Soon such performers and composers as Malezhik, Sarukhanov, Valentina Tolkunova already collaborated with Kopylova. With the latter, Svetlana even held several joint concerts. After the death of Tolkunova, it was Kopylova who initiated the creation of a film about her and shot it together with a group of like-minded people. The painting was named "Love conquers death". So Svetlana Kopylova also became a film director.

The turning point for Svetlana Kopylova's career was her acquaintance with Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov. The woman plunged into Christianity, took up charity work, refused stage performances, filming in films. Now she still sings, but only for the elite, her work has become deeper in meaning. Critics note that the new compositions of the poetess and composer help listeners to discover new, still unknown qualities of their souls, fill them with warmth and joy.

Svetlana Kopylova does not perform on the stage, but continues to release studio albums of her parable songs. The last of them are “Blessed is he who believes” (2014), “Nostalgia”, “I give a star”, “The world where love lives”.
