Timofeev Gennady Tarasovich was born in 1954 in Belarus. The whole family - parents and brother - loved music. Gennady often, walking around the older children, heard them singing to the guitar. Sometimes they asked to look after the instrument. He took the guitar, repeated the chords, and at home tried to get a good sound.
Creative career
He wrote his first song in the army and dedicated it to a girl whom he loved from the 4th grade, but was afraid to confess. When he returned, she got married. This is how the song "The Mistress of the Bar" was born.
Fame came when he won the Strings of Hope festival, then the Slavic Autumn festival and the Afghan song festival. Has released seven albums and two discs. G. Timofeev is the author of the anthem of the Shakhtar basketball team and the Song of the Forward of the Shakhtar football club.
