Biography

The future actor, parodist Gennady Mikhailovich Dudnik was born in Moscow back in 1924. Real name and patronymic - Girsh Moiseevich. Hirsch spent his childhood in Moscow, studying in a regular school. After graduating from high school, the young man entered the artillery school and successfully graduated from it. After graduating from college, Dudnik was taken to the front. He went through almost the entire war (1942-1945).

Study and early career

Coming from the front, he immediately enters GITIS. After graduation, he gets a job at the Moscow Drama Theater of Oil Workers. Later this theater became known as the touring comedy theater. Dudnik's acting career began in the theater. Here he played his first roles in the performances "Mad Money" and "The Scarlet Flower".

Gennady Mikhailovich began to parody at the institute. But he began to try himself as a serious parodist when he entered the service in the theater. The peculiarity of Dudnik's talent as a parodist was that he could not only imitate the voices and manner of the one he parodied, but could also penetrate into his essence, showing the inner world of the object. Gennady parodied the most famous people of that time - Utyosov, Levitan, Papanov, Garin, Merkuriev, Yanshin, Filippov and many others.

In addition to theater and parodies, Dudnik also had other works. In 1965, he starred in The Road to the Sea, where he played the role of an entertainer. He was very much involved in dubbing films ("Fanfare of Love", "Eve Wants to Sleep", "Quenching Thirst" and others). Voiced cartoons ("Sportlandia", "Nut Twig", "Teetotal Sparrow", "Merry Carousel", "Key" and others). Gennady Mikhailovich took part in the radio play "In the country of multi-console".

Family trio

While registering at GITIS, Gennady met a girl who became his wife. He lived with her all his life - it was the actress Elena Arnoldova.

Together with her, they played on the same stage for a long time. But the Dudnik-Arnoldov duet was formed only in 1957. Having played "husband and wife" for the first time on stage, they kept the duet for many years. The artistic couple had a son, Anatoly, who followed in the footsteps of his parents. He graduated from the Shchukin Theater School and began to work with his parents. A family trio was formed. The famous writer - humorist A. Trushkin personally wrote a play for them, which was called "Believe it or not!" The family played in it in full force.

Gennady Mikhailovich Dudnik was a talented actor, parodist, director, teacher. He wrote a lot both for himself and for the young actors whom he taught acting.

Died Gennady Mikhailovich Dudnik in 1993. His wife survived him by 20 years. They were buried together at the Vostryakovskoye cemetery in Moscow.
