Biography
Childhood
Egor Timofeev was born and raised in the city on the Neva on April 14, 1976. Mom and Dad had nothing to do with music, and the boy showed his creative abilities in childhood: he sang well and danced great. Therefore, he enjoyed attending piano and violin lessons at a music school.
Youth and creative career
After graduating from music and general secondary school, Yegor entered the history department at the Pedagogical University. As a first-year student, Yegor created the group The Ears, which included several musical guys. They performed just for themselves the hits of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Doors and other world famous ensembles. Four years later, after graduating from the institute, Yegor received a higher education, a teacher's diploma, but did not work for a day in his chosen profession, but the group first performed in front of the audience with their songs already included and the new name of the group "Deep-Water Wonders". Timofeev became a soloist, as well as an author of music and lyrics. In addition to him, the group included: Maxim Voitov (drums), Evgeny Lazarenko (electric guitar), Viktor Novikov (keys) and Rustem Gallyamov (bass guitar).
Cartoons
A year later, the name of the group was changed to "MultFilmy". For five years, the team has been gaining momentum. The band's music had its own unique sound style, similar to the British direction of Brit-pop. The songs were heard on many radio stations and television, performances took place at prestigious festivals. Popular love for the musicians was given by the hit "They Are Watching Us". In 2004, Yegor Timofeev recorded a solo album "Pentagon", in which he himself plays almost all instruments. In the same year, the musicians took a break in their creative activities for several years. In 2007, she again began to give concerts in clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In 2015, after an eight-year hiatus, the rock group "MultFilmy" again began to work and appeared in front of the public. The band became best known for their Brit-pop style, which manifested itself already on the first album of the same name. The musicians have prepared several new songs for future tours.
During its existence, the group "Cartoons" has released more than 10 studio albums and gave dozens of concerts in Russia.

Personal life
In the mid-90s, the famous musician met a girl who conquered not only her appearance, but also a rich, sensual world. She starred in several clips of the group. In a civil marriage, the young couple lived until 2001, and then formalized the relationship. But after a while they parted.
In 2016, Egor underwent two endoprosthetics surgeries.
Currently, the musician lives with his beloved woman, brings up his daughter Varvara.
