Lately, a lot of controversy has arisen around the civil position of Andrei Makarevich, the permanent leader of the Mashina Vremeni music group. Naturally, interest in his biography, career and personal life also grew. So who is he - Andrey Makarevich?
Andrei Vadimovich Makarevich always went against the stream, knew how to defend his views and positions, did not seek universal approval. He jokingly ascribes his actions to a mixture of bloods - Jewish, Polish and Belarusian. What really influenced the formation of his personality - origin, upbringing or character traits?
Childhood and adolescence of Andrei Makarevich
Andrey Vadimovich is a native Muscovite. He was born in November 1953 into the family of a phthisiatrician and an architect. The boy was addicted and dreamy, a kind of romantic, striving for the unknown. He planned to become a herpetologist, paleontologist and even a diver. But dad sent him to a music school, deciding that his son must be a musician. Regular piano lessons only annoyed Andrei, and he abandoned his lessons, and his parents did not immediately find out about his decision.
The boy was "thrown" from one hobby to another - he began to collect a collection of butterflies, then wound up snakes, then went skiing, then swimming. But at the age of 12, Andrei nevertheless returned to music - he mastered the guitar, listened to Okudzhava all day long, then became a fan of Vysotsky.
The work of The Beatles amazed young Makarevich so much that he decided, by all means, to create his own musical group. Andrei found like-minded people quickly - they were childhood friends from his yard on Komsomolsky Prospekt and classmates.
Music in the life of Andrey Makarevich
Parents did not approve of Andrey's passion for music, which was "not held in high esteem" in the Soviet country. The most harmless thing that at that time was listening to Makarevich - the songs of Bulat Okudzhava. By the 9th grade, Andrey already had an impressive "baggage" of his own songs, which later became the repertoire of the "Time Machine" group. Its first composition included
- Andrey Makarevich himself,
- Kawagoe Sergey,
- Borzov Yuri,
- Mazaev Sergey.
Music was everything to them, but their work did not receive the approval of officials. This has caused many problems for the musicians. Andrei Makarevich, for example, was expelled from the architectural institute, where he entered at the request of his parents. The wording of the reason for the expulsion was simply ridiculous - for untimely leaving from labor practice at a vegetable base.
Not all members of the team could withstand the pressure put on by the authorities, and the composition of the Time Machine was constantly changing. Only Makarevich remained unchanged in its composition.
Career of Andrey Makarevich
After being expelled from the institute, Makarevich for some time studied only music, which his parents did not like. He had to recover at the Moscow Architectural Institute, but even with the help of his father, he managed to continue his studies only in the evening course of the university. After receiving his diploma in architecture, Andrei went to work in an organization that was engaged in the design of spectacular structures and theaters, but did not show much success in architecture.
Makarevich promoted his group as best he could, and his efforts were crowned with success - Rosconcert himself signed a contract with the collective for concert activities. It was a major victory, giving a chance for development, albeit under certain conditions.
After signing the contract, Makarevich resigned from the design institute and concentrated on developing a musical career and promoting the group. In 1986, the first full-fledged album "Time Machine" was released, the team went on tour around the country, publications about the musicians appeared in the press, their songs were heard from the windows of houses, became tracks to the cult films of those times - it was a success!
Fame made it possible to engage in other hobbies. Makarevich became the author and host of television programs - "Underwater World" and "SMAK". In 2001, Andrei Vadimovich fulfilled another of his dreams - he organized a jazz group "Creole Tango Orchestra". And even if it did not become as successful and iconic as "Time Machine", but it has its listeners and fans. 15 years later, the Makarevich JAM Club opened in the center of the capital, where only live music sounds.
Personal life of Andrey Makarevich
5 wives and three children - this is the personal "piggy bank" of Andrey Makarevich. Elena Glazova became his first official wife. An attempt to start a family was unsuccessful, the marriage broke up three years later, without squabbles and scandals. It was during this period that Andrei Vadimovich's daughter Dana was born, but not from Elena. Who is the girl's mother is unknown to this day. Dana lives in America, maintains a warm relationship with her father.
Only 7 years after the first divorce, Makarevich decided to re-enter into an official marriage. His chosen one was the ex-wife of a colleague in the "Time Machine" of Alexei Romanov - Alla Golubkina. The couple's relationship was deeper, a year after the wedding, a son, Ivan, was born. This tipping point marked the beginning of a breakup for the pair.
Then there was an affair with the bright and extraordinary radio host Ksenia Strizh. They were so different that few believed in their relationship; the press considered them to be a kind of PR.
After parting with Ksenia, Makarevich spent almost two years alone. Then there was an affair with the press attaché of the Time Machine group Anna Rozhdestvenskaya. It is not known whether there was an official marriage, but the couple had a daughter, Anya, in 2000. This union also broke up at Makarevich.
In 2003, Andrei Vadimovich again went to the registry office. A new hobby was a young beauty, make-up artist, photo artist Elena Golub. But this attempt to start a family was not crowned with success - in 2010 the family broke up.
What does Andrey Makarevich do and how he lives now
Today in Russia Makarevich is no longer so in demand. His political views and statements caused heated debate, many fans were disappointed in him.
However, the Mashina Vremeni collective continues its concert activity, albeit not so active. In addition, Makarevich is successful in business - he has a diving goods store, he is a co-owner of a chain of restaurants in Moscow and a dental clinic, is engaged in charity work, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bim Animal Protection Fund.
