Steve Hiroyuki Aoki (that is the full name of the American popular DJ) was born in the town of Newport Beach, which is located in the US state of California. In 1996 - at that moment Steve was just 20 years old - the young man created his own record label, called Dim Mak Records.
During the same period of time, Steve Aoki is actively involved in mixing various tracks, developing his DJ skills. He begins to perform more and more often in nightclubs scattered throughout the state (California), and very quickly becomes famous in certain circles.
The next step in Aoki's career was working with a man named Blake Miller: they formed a duo called Weird Science.
Thanks to his quickly achieved popularity and his natural talent, Steve Aoki begins to receive more and more offers of cooperation with renowned musicians, bands and performers. Over the course of his career, he has created a huge number of remixes of popular, hit songs.
The first full length album, "Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles", was released by Steve Aoki in 2008. The next studio disc titled "Wonderland" was released in 2012. Many stars of the music scene worked with the DJ on this disc.
