Childhood and youth
The future pop artist and songwriter was born on April 6, 1956 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents at that time lived in the famous city of Samarkand, which is located in Uzbekistan. My father was engaged in scientific research in the field of medium-sized mechanical engineering. Mother worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature. They were Armenian by nationality. When the boy was four years old, the head of the family was transferred to the city of Dolgoprudny, Moscow region. Here he was to defend his Ph. D. thesis.
Igor demonstrated vocal and musical abilities from an early age. To ensure the child's harmonious development, his mother enrolled him in a music school. As often happens, Sarukhanov in high school was seriously carried away by creativity. By that time, he had perfectly mastered the technique of playing the guitar. Moreover, he famously performed courtyard and thieves' songs, for which he was respected by local hooligans. The beginning maestro organized a vocal and instrumental ensemble, which was invited to various festive events. The guys even received good fees.
Musical creativity
Sarukhanov studied well at school, but did not show due diligence. Having received a certificate of maturity, he decided to professionally engage in vocal and instrumental creativity. He performed with his group at discos and restaurants. Parents tried to protest and guide their son on the right path. However, Igor categorically refused to enter a technical university. While discussions were held in the house about the future of the young man, the time came and Sarukhanov was called into the ranks of the armed forces. His place of service was determined by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Moscow Military District.
It became apparent to a few of the pose that it was a sign of fate. In the army ensemble, Igor met the then-famous performer Stas Namin. They performed together at various shows, marches and parades. After demobilization, Sarukhanov already had sufficient experience to perform professionally on stage. He was invited to the cult group "Blue Bird". As part of this ensemble, guitarist Sarukhanov toured the most isolated places of the Soviet Union. For several years he performed in the VIA "Flowers".
Recognition and privacy
During the period of his creative activity, Sarukhanov has released more than two dozen song collections and discs. He was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation". In 2007, his book "Biography of Feelings" was published.
Igor's personal life is like a kaleidoscope. He has been officially married six times. He found true family happiness only in an extreme marriage. The husband and wife raised and raised two daughters. Currently, the composer lives in his own house near Zvenigorod.
