The Eurovision pop song contest is held among the countries of the European Broadcasting Union. The competition was first held in 1956. Since then, Eurovision has been organized annually and is one of the most popular entertainment events in the world.
Winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest
The winner of Eurovision 2009 is the Norwegian singer and violinist Alexander Rybak. His parents are Belarusian musicians who emigrated to Norway when his son was 4 years old. In Oslo, Alexander graduated from the Academy of Music, violin class. As a musician he took part in Norwegian musicals, performed together with the famous violinist P. Zuckerman, worked as an accompanist in the Norwegian Youth Symphony Orchestra. At the Eurovision Song Contest Rybak performed the song Fairytale, which was dedicated to his ex-girlfriend Ingrid Berg Mehus. During the performance, he played the violin and scored a record 387 points in the history of Eurovision.
Winner of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest
The following year, the German actress and singer Lena Mayer-Landrut won the competition. Since childhood, Lena has been professionally engaged in dancing, but she has never officially studied either acting or vocal skills. At the competition, Lena presented the song Satellite. In 2011, Lena took part in the Eurovision Song Contest again with the song Taken by A Stranger, but this time she managed to take only 10th place.

In 2011, the winner of the music competition was the Azerbaijani duet Ell & Nikki, which was formed specifically to perform at Eurovision. The duet included Azerbaijani singer and actor Eldar Gasimov and Azerbaijani singer Nigar Jamal. The winner of the Eurovision 2012 contest was the Swedish singer Loreen, who is of Moroccan-Berber origin. At the Eurovision Song Contest, Lorin presented the song Euphoria, accompanied by a unique yoga dance number. 18 countries out of 26 gave Lorin's performance a maximum score of 12 points.

The last winner of the competition was the Danish singer Emilie de Forest. Since childhood, Emily was fond of music: from the age of 9 she sang in the church choir, and from the age of 14 in the gospel choir of Steve Cameron.
