Childhood and adolescence

Anna was born in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region. When the girl was only 5 years old, her parents went with her to Abzakov, on the territory of which a ski center had just appeared. Alpine skiing very much lured the girl, who was born into a family of athletes.

And after 2 years, when the girl was 7 years old, Elena Telegina (who eventually became Anna's coach) turned to her and her parents and invited the girl to seriously engage in mountain skiing in the newly opened school. Anna, without hesitation, agreed and began her studies.

In general, parents from an early age developed their child. In addition to skiing, she also danced, attended and studied at a music school. Unfortunately or fortunately, because of such a daily routine, Anna did not have time to watch TV or just walk down the street. But such a daily routine taught Anya to work and train every day.

And so, doing sports every day, Anna, at the age of 9, has already been able to get bronze at the all-Russian competitions. After that, sports began to gradually displace everything else from Ani's life. And after she began to win in regional and city competitions, the coaches of the Olympic team began to pay attention to her.

This is how Anna became a member of the Olympic youth team by the age of 12. And even then she began to understand that sport is not a hobby. After 4 years, Anna was able to achieve really great success - she became part of the main composition of the Olympic team. Of course, now Anna will not remember at all all the awards she received, but, nevertheless, among them there were first, and second, and third places.

Carier start

Anna with enviable perseverance was engaged in the most favorite sport for her, and such hard work, together with perseverance, brought its results. At the age of 17, already being quite popular in sports, Anna was able to win 4 gold and 1 silver medals in Sayanogorsk. In the same year, during the Russian super-giant championship, Anna took second place, and during the downhill - third place.

Maybe alpine skiing seems to be a fairly simple sport, but they require a person to master the technique. Anna perfected her technique every day, and after any performance or training session, Anna and her coach watched the videos to find errors and roughness of the technique.

An important point: while skiing, you need to build movements along a certain trajectory and in a certain position. This allows you to quickly rebuild and transition from one pose to another. Ultimately, this also affects dynamics.

Anna Sorokina can be safely called the first person in special slalom in Russia. In addition, she is a two-time champion of the Russian Federation and the winner of a large number of international competitions, equal in her rating to the European Championship. And due to really high results at each of her performances, Anna became a full-fledged master of sports of the international class.

In alpine skiing, Anna immediately became subject to 4 active disciplines, which can already be called a rather rare event. Indeed, in most cases, highly qualified athletes opt for a particular sport.

All Anna Sorokina's trainings take place as part of the national team, and qualified coaches work with the girl every day. Classes are held every day two times - this is a morning workout and an evening workout. If there is an opportunity to relax and not go to training, then it appears very, very rarely. Anna usually gets rest after large-scale competitions or after the season ends. It is not surprising that with such a work schedule, Anna lives at home for no more than 1 month for the whole year.

Education

Despite the lack of time and great employment, Anna receives another higher education. The first was the Faculty of Psychology at the Moscow State University, and the second education at the Faculty of Physics. All this suggests that Anna already at a young age thinks about what exactly she will do if her career suddenly ends. By the way, the teachers understand how busy Anna is, so the girl has no serious problems with her studies.

Personal life

Due to a very, very tight schedule, Anna has no opportunity to become a wife to someone. However, she jokingly notes that her future husband will either be in love with skiing, or will be in some way very strongly associated with sports disciplines. As Anya notes, only in this case will they be able to reach mutual understanding and will support each other without harming work and sports.

Anna loves her family very much and is sad that she does not have time for a family. Parents, in turn, support their daughter and worry if the athlete is injured. Usually, with any injury, parents begin to ask Anna to think about ending her sports career.

However, Anna has girlfriends. True, they are all somehow connected with sports. Anna has a very strong, warm friendship with her sports friends, because Anna sees and contacts with many of her friends almost all day. By the way, friends are both competitors for Anna at the same time, but this does not interfere with friendship in any way.
