Biography
Alexey Igorevich was born in the Moscow region, in the city of Noginsk in 1982. The talented young man entered the Academic Art Lyceum, which was founded at the Academy of Arts. He graduated from it with a gold medal and in 2006 already became a graduate of the Art Institute named after the great painter V. I.
In 2008, Alexey Igorevich was invited to work in the studio of military artists, where he works to the present.
Creation
On the Frunzenskaya Embankment in Moscow, you can see Ignatov's sculptural composition. It was created based on the famous film "Officers".
The monument exactly resembles the episode of the meeting of the main characters after parting, as well as the arrival of the cadet Ivan. It seems that this scene of the film took place in the same place where the monument is now. But in fact, this significant episode from the film "Officers" was filmed near Moscow State University.
Actors playing the main roles - Alina Pokrovskaya, Vasily Lanovoy, as well as Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu - came to the opening ceremony of the statue. The monument was opened in 2013, on December 9, during the celebration of the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland.
