Beloivan is a pseudonym, Larisa Gennadievna practically does not use her last name. Under this name, readers and admirers of her pictorial art know her.

Biography

Larisa Gennadievna was born in 1967 in the town of Petropavlovsk, which is located in the north of Kazakhstan. After graduating from school, the future writer decided not to go anywhere, but to the Far East, to the city of Nakhodka. Here she entered a school to get an education, and four years later became a flight attendant on foreign ships. But she did not sail anywhere, because by that time she had already found herself another occupation - she planned to become a journalist.

No one suspected that in parallel with her studies at the school, she studied in absentia at the Far Eastern University at the Faculty of Journalism. After college, she went to work in a shipping company, but this was temporary, until she graduated from the university. At the same time, Larisa was already writing notes and articles to local and federal publications with might and main.

These were the regional office of the ITAR-TASS news agency, one of the most reputable news agencies of that time, and the RIA Novosti agency for the Primorsky Territory. However, her materials can still be read in different publications, although she writes under different pseudonyms.

Literature

Beloivan's first book "Little Hennya" was published in 2006. Here are collected stories and stories of a novice writer. As critics said about it - "the writer of despair". Laura writes about those people who surround her, and she does not hesitate to use the language they speak, and most often these are obscene words - but this is how ordinary people speak: sailors, port workers and just workers.

2009 was marked by the release of the novel "The Fifty-first Winter of Nathanael Vilkin", in 2012 - the collection "Carbide and Ambrosia". For the second book Beloivan received the prestigious NOS literary prize. The collection includes stories about the inhabitants of the village of Yuzhnorusskoye Ovcharovo. Unusual stories about people and fish are read in one breath.

Painting

Suffice it to say that Beloivan's paintings have scattered all over the world, and now they flaunt in private collections. Especially admirers of the artist of the series "Fish Does Not Speak", as well as "Cats and Different People" are liked. The artist's original work finds a response in the hearts of different people, describing the simplest scenes of everyday life. But Laura's writing style is rather unusual - this is what attracts her.

Ecology

This is such a large-scale topic that it needs to be devoted to a separate article. The fact is that Beloivan organized a center for the rehabilitation of marine mammals, which began with one baby seal washed ashore. He lived in Larisa's apartment, right in the bathroom.

Now in the village of Tavrichanka, on the shore of the lagoon, a "seal house" has been built, where animals find help. The center works in conjunction with the Far Eastern Institute of Biology.

Personal life

Laura's husband's name is Pavel Chopenko, he is a veterinarian by profession. Pavel fully supports the initiatives of his wife: together they hatched the idea of creating a rehabilitation center for seals. Now the couple live in the village of Tavrichanka and both work in the center they created.

The photo shows the moment of release of the rescued seals into the sea, grown up and healthy.
