Alexey Fedorovich Vishnya was born on September 18, 1964 in Leningrad, although he jokes about his birth that he was "born" in America. His parents by occupation spent a lot of time in Latin America.
All childhood he was left to himself. He received his secondary education with great difficulty. The family had a good apartment, his parents were not against his hobbies for music. Mom knew almost all of his musician friends. And she was loyal to all their quirks.
At the age of 12, Alexei began to show interest in cinema and sound. This was noticed by the teachers at the school. Soon he was sent to projectionist courses. Andrey Tropillo became Alexey's teacher.
First steps into the magic of sound
In addition to studying the basics of cinema mechanics, Alexey studied in the circle of acoustics and sound recording. Classes were conducted by Andrey Tropillo in a special room equipped for a simple recording studio. The boys learned to record, rewrite and copy the Time Machine songs and distribute them on tapes and cassettes. Andrei Tropillo already at that time was a respected person in sound recording, and many famous musicians went to him.
It was there that Alexei first heard about the Blue Album of the Aquarium group. At the age of 16, it was a shock for him. He brought the tape home and turned on the tape. To the parents, Grebenshchikov's performance seemed strange. Mom said that a person is not an ordinary singer. Later, this difficult person "BG" often came to visit them, and they found a common language with their mother.
Since then, the "Aquarium" group has firmly entered the heart of Cherry and lives there to this day.
Creative life until 1999
Classes in the recording circle with Andrei Tropillo gradually developed into a persistent hobby. Alexey Vishnya at that time became closely acquainted with many rock musicians of that time. There were meetings and friendship with Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshchikov and Kinchev. There were frequent parties and parties, concerts in the Leningrad rock club. A. Vishnya improved every day, with every recorded song, with every album. They began to perceive him as a talented and necessary sound engineer. He recorded songs for everyone, turning the apartment into a recording studio.
Music of the 80s and 90s taught A. Vishnya a lot. He learned to play the guitar like Tsoi and Grebenshchikov, learned to mix sounds, mastered live (tape) sound, and later electronic (computer). He participated in many strange stories related to BG, Tsoi and other musicians - Alexei Rybin (Fish), Andrey Panov (Pig).
History of "PR" "Blood Groups"
The new songs for the "Blood Group" album have long lay as rough, recorded, but not mixed in sound. A. Vishnya tried to convince Victor for a long time that he needed to finish the album and give him life. Tsoi did not want to release it in Russia, but it still happened, thanks to A. Vishna. He brought the songs to mind and promoted their distribution on cassettes. The album traveled all over the cities in a few days. Cassettes instantly appeared in kiosks and shops throughout Russia. Viktor Tsoi at that time was busy filming the film "Needle" and was stunned when he saw the cassettes with the cover of "Blood Group" on sale.

Cherry Music Transformation
There were periods of success and not success, depression and revitalization. The popularity of the Blood Group album also helped Vishnya to advance in her creative work. His songs began to be played on the radio, and more often they were invited to stadium concerts as the final performer. During that period, he visited all musical forms.
In 1998 Vishnya thought about a new album. He felt ashamed to go to concerts with old songs. Then he had already mastered the writing of music in multichannel and digital format. The album "Sailor's Dream" was created in the home conditions of loneliness on a "typewriter". This is what Cherry calls the computer. Computer music, according to Cherry, is "dead", but this is a new trend of the times, which is inevitable.
The album "Sailor's Dream" was a successful experiment, which was created on the emotions of the creator. Then there were many songs and songs, cooperation with the LEM theater. There was an unpleasant story with Svetlana Petrova and the failed project of the play "Bloody Nutcracker". Failures covered Cherry. In the summer of 1999, he was run over by a car, was seriously injured and was in the hospital for a long time.
Creative life after 1999
In the fall of 1999, he left the hospital on crutches and in some pants, recalls A. Vishnya. A new life with old problems added to the difficulties. He found himself homeless, without parents, without a wife, without money, but with the hope of a complete recovery and revival.
There were kind people, they helped - they gave me shelter. He spent his time looking at television and a computer monitor. I hatched ideas for further studies. He realized that he had dropped out of life and even from the global network. While hammering his name in the search, he did not see a single result with the words "Alexey Vishnya". With this he could not come to terms. He had to somehow declare himself again, and the TV helped him. The glance caught on the performance of the group "Russian size". It breathed hope into him.

While watching the news with Dorenko, an unusual idea came to mind to combine the speeches of politicians with music. It was not new, but Alexey had never done it before. This hobby was interesting and even profitable. It used to be and is still popular, but interest in political technology did not last long. He again switched to his own music and decided to cover the songs of the Kino group.

Alexey has been thinking about re-singing the songs of the Aquarium group for a long time. At that time, Grebenshchikov was often asked if he would like to make new songs for the group? He replied:
Cherry, after consulting with Grebenshchikov, got down to business. The cover is an interpretation of the song. BG agreed that his old songs require modern melodic comprehension. Several cover versions of Grebenshchikov's songs were included in the Illusions album in 1992. But Vishnya also loves the Kino group and V. Tsoi very much. And I also wanted to cover Tsoi's songs.
Cherry Cinema Project
The rights to all the songs of V. Tsoi today belong to the firm "Moroz Records". Manager Sergei Golitsyn agreed to cooperate with Vishnya. Alexey himself is convinced that this will be a gift for V. Today Alexey Vishnya is an active sound engineer under the pseudonym "Yanshiva Shela". He changed his hairstyle and from a long-haired, effeminate youth turned into an imposing man with a short haircut. He responds to all projects in which he sees interest. Collaborates with young groups: "AuktsYon", "Coffee", "Myths", "Nesterov's Loop", "Object of ridicule", "Schoolboy girl" and many others …
He resumed concerts.
He does not grumble at fate, despite all its vicissitudes. He does not regret that he connected his life with music. After all, now he acts as a keeper of the history of music of the 80s and 90s. His name is closely intertwined with Viktor Tsoi, and this interweaving helps him in real work. Now he has something to remember. What would have happened if he had gone the other way?
