Strizhenova Marianna Aleksandrovna (maiden name Gryzunova-Bebutova) is a Soviet theater and film actress. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969).

Biography

Marianna Alexandrovna was born on November 14, 1924 in Moscow into an acting family.

Father - Alexander Ivanovich Gryzunov (1894-1931) and mother - Maria Leontievna Alekseeva-Bebutova (1887-1973) worked at the Moscow Art Theater (MKhAT).

In 1947, the actress graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M. S. Schepkin and was accepted into the troupe of the Mossovet Theater. Here Marianna Alexandrovna worked for ten years. She played in the performances:

  • "Moscow character" (Shura, Potapov's secretary);
  • "Fashion Shop" (Annushka, girl, Liza);
  • "Handsome Man" (Susanna Sergeevna Landysheva);

In 1957, the actress moved to the State Film Actor Theater.

At the theater, Marianne played in the performances "Miracle" (Beatrice) and "Long live ladies!"

In the first films, the actress starred in the early 50s under the name of Bebutov. In the musical comedy "Generous Summer" Marianna Aleksandrovna played the role of foreman Oksana Podpruzhenko, and in the historical and biographical film "Taras Shevchenko" she played Agafya Andreevna Uskova.

In 1955, the actress played the main female role in the film The Gadfly. The picture was a great success. In the first year of the show, she gathered 35 million viewers, taking an honorable third place.

During the filming of The Gadfly, the actress got married. And later she began to act in films under the name of her husband.

In 1957, in addition to the painting "The Gadfly", two more films were released with the participation of the actress "Height", "Gutta-Percha Boy".

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Marianna Alexandrovna, like many domestic actors, was left without work. She no longer acted in films and lived on retirement with a small supplement from the Actors Guild.

The actress passed away on May 12, 2004 in Moscow.

She was buried at the Golovinskoye cemetery, next to the grave of her daughter, actress Natalia Strizhenova (1957-2003).

Personal life

At the age of 18, Marianna Alexandrovna married a young lieutenant colonel Veniamin Kirillov (Hero of the Soviet Union). But the couple did not stay together for long - they were separated by the Great Patriotic War. In 1943, Kirillov died.

During the filming of the film "The Gadfly", Marianna Aleksandrovna met the actor Oleg Strizhenov. And shortly after filming the movie, the couple got married. In 1957, their daughter Natalya was born.

The couple divorced in 1968. Oleg Strizhenov went to another actress Lyubov Zemlyanikina (Strizhenova).

In 1987, the granddaughter of Alexander was born to Marianna Strizhenova.
