Biography

As a girl, Lyubov bore the surname Lifentsova, she was born in 1940 in Moscow, a year before the start of the terrible war. Therefore, all her childhood, scorched by the war, was remembered by the devastation and half-starved years after the war.

The Lifentsov family lived in poverty, but the girl secretly dreamed of becoming an actress. From an early age, she showed a craving for acting, even at school she knew that only this profession and this creativity attracted her with some unusual force. Therefore, after receiving a certificate of secondary education, she entered the Moscow Art Theater School.

Lyuba entered easily, studied with pleasure, and during her studies she starred in two films and played in several performances. And then - admission to the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater and work in this magnificent theater. The actress Lyubov Strizhenova gave this theater more than forty years, leaving the stage only in 2007. She has played all possible roles in classical and contemporary works and in fact has become a symbol of the theater.

Film career

Already in the first year of university, Lyubov began acting in films - it was a cameo role in the film "Street of Youth" (1958). The second role was also very small, but here Lifentsova saw the work of such venerable actors as Nina Urgant, Nikolai Burlyaev and Viya Artmane.

But immediately after graduating from the studio school, she was waiting for the role of the girl of the main character in the comedy "Stitches-Paths", and this was already serious work. However, real fame came to Lyuba with the detective "Case from the Investigative Practice", where she played the main role of the investigator Sukhareva. The biggest difficulty of this work was that it was necessary to approach the investigation not formally. Lifentsova coped with this role: her investigator Sukhareva turned out to be strict, but fair.
