The modern world requires activity and commitment from every adequate and reasonable person. Of course, you can live caring only about food and a roof over your head. But girls will not love such boys. Brad Falchak was born on March 1, 1971 into a family of Orthodox Jews. Parents at that time lived in Newton, Massachusetts. Mother devoted all her free time to social work. For several years she served as president of the National Jewish Women's Organization of the United States.

My father was content with a modest position as a clerk in one of the city banks. Brad grew up an energetic and restless child. At school, he liked physical education lessons most of all. Although he did not lag behind his classmates in other subjects, his studies were given to him with difficulty. As it turned out later, the teenager was dyslexic. This psychosomatic disorder does not affect mental state, but it inhibits the development of writing and reading skills. To compensate for his shortcomings, Falchak tried to stand out from his peers and in high school put on a new tie every day, going to class.

Brad attended all the sports sections that operated at the school. In basketball, he has achieved mediocre results. But he played baseball for the city team. After graduating from school, the young man decided to get a musical education and entered the conservatory. A year later, he interrupted his studies and transferred to the American Film Institute. While still a student, Falchak planned his future. He regularly sat down at his desk and wrote scripts for various television programs. This habit has borne abundant fruit in the future.

The first sign to appear on one of the television channels in Southern California was the non-profit program Young Storytellers. The aim of the project was to unleash the creativity of children and adolescents through storytelling skills. Children tell funny or sad stories from their lives live. This idea was prompted by Falchak's memories of childhood, when he could not, standing at the blackboard, recite a poem. The project, in different interpretations, spread across all states.

On a professional path

Being engaged in creativity, Falchak was aware that the most important thing is to sell the written script for a decent price. He also knew that scripts literally flooded the offices of all producers in film companies and on television. It is very important to get the decision maker to pick up the manuscript and read the first page. The first series titled "Mutant X" appeared on screens in 2001. Brad experienced real pleasure and satisfaction when positive reviews from critics and viewers appeared in the press.

The elated author continued to work on the following stories. At the same time, Brad managed to attend official and private events. I made acquaintances with fellow writers, producers and actors. I was interested in ways of attracting financial resources to projects. After the release of the next series "Earth: The Last Conflict", Falchuk had a full set of skills in order to start producing. The high positions of the films in the ratings confirmed the correctness of the chosen strategy.

Brad has experienced first hand that the screenwriter is an employee. A scripting specialist is hired to perform a specific task. He is forced to adapt to the employer. In turn, the producer is the employer. It was according to this scheme that the events took shape when Falchak was invited to participate in the "Body Parts" project. In the process of creating the series, he met and became close friends with producer and director Ryan Murphy. Essentially, Brad served not only as a screenwriter, but also as an executive producer.

Successful tandem

Falchuk's production career has evolved progressively. In partnership with Murphy, he has worked on several series. When two talented people find a common language, then a brilliant work is born. This is exactly what happened during the implementation of the Khor project. The idea was so successful that the series was broadcast on TV for six seasons. There was a complete understanding between the partners.

In 2011, they presented American Horror Story to the audience. The series, as they say, hit the mark. The audience enthusiastically spoke about the plot of the series and the characters. Three years later, the television series Scream Queens began to appear. Using proven approaches, the partners released American Crime Story in 2016. Success again. Critics have called this genre an anthology series.

Personal life scenario

The famous screenwriter and producer, always immersed in business, did not disregard his personal life. Brad met his first wife at the workplace. Susan Bakinik's future wife was also involved in television production. The family has children, a son and a daughter. Seven years later, the husband and wife decided to leave. The reason for the divorce was a new love.

With his second wife, Falchak met on the set of the next series. Gradually, the business relationship grew into friendship. And at the next stage, producer and actress Gwyneth Paltrow decided to join their fates. A modest wedding took place in 2018.
