Many Soviet actresses are marked with some kind of special stamp of naivety, intelligence and decency. Looking at them, it is impossible not to think about goodness and justice, about courage and sacrifice. One of these actresses is Lilia Aleshnikova, a charming and beautiful woman.
She was a star of Soviet cinema, and became famous after the comedy drama "Adult Children" (1962). It was here that Lilia showed the ideal of a Soviet girl - decent, honest and kind. In this film, she starred together with famous Soviet actors Alexei Gribov, Zoya Fedorova, Vsevolod Sanaev and quite young Alexander Demyanenko, a celebrity from the "Caucasian Captive".
Biography
Lilia Lazarevna Aleshnikova was born in Moscow in 1935. The girl's family belonged to the art world: her father, Peter Berezov, was an actor, and her mother, Eleanor Bendak, was a ballerina. Lilia's parents divorced when she was very young, so she has a middle name and last name of her stepfather - Lazar Aleshnikov. He worked as an engineer and treated his adopted daughter like his own. Moreover, she grew up during the difficult war years.
Then life in Moscow was difficult, but everyone believed that victory would still be for the Soviet Union and dreamed of a peaceful life. And Lilia dreamed that when the war ended, she would go to study to become an actress. And so it happened - after graduating from school, she entered the Shchukin School to get the education of an actress. Here she was very lucky with the teachers, especially with the main mentor - Iosif Matveyevich Rapoport became him.
The years of study flew by very quickly, as they were filled not only with theory, but also with rehearsals, performances, student skits and other creative events.
When Lilia graduated from Pike in 1958, she went to work at the Pushkin Theater. Unfortunately, the young actress in this theater was not allowed to play a single serious role, and she was busy with episodes all the time. Therefore, Aleshnikova decided to leave the theater. This decision was not easy for her, because the theater is a special place for an actor, where you can “feel the audience with your skin”. However, she could not waste years in episodes either.
Film career
Aleshnikova's debut as a film actress took place back in 1956 in the film They Were the First. It was luck, because she got the main role - a simple girl Glasha, who in difficult times showed courage and patriotism. The plot of the film tells about young virgin lands who took up the fight against bureaucracy.
The best films in the actress's portfolio are the films "Adult Children" (1962) and "Penalty Kick" (1963), in which Lilia played the journalist Luda Milovanova. The brave girl exposed the forgery of the head of the livestock complex, who planned to bring “dummy” athletes to the competition. This film was quite daring for the time.
Personal life
The actress's husband, Yakov Segel, was also an actor and director. As a director, he directed the wonderful film The House I Live In (1957). A son, Alexander, was born in a creative family, he became a cameraman.
In 2008, Lilia Aleshnikova passed away and was buried at the Donskoy cemetery.
