Reforms are a good thing. Reforms can be carried out not only by statesmen at the highest level. The head of a large enterprise or firm can undertake reforms; football club coach; language school owner; and finally, a housewife in her own kitchen.
Instructions
Step 1
Whoever you are, you will not carry out reforms from scratch. You probably have a staff of people dependent on you who, as a result of this reform, should receive some benefits and begin to work better, which, of course, will have a beneficial effect on the state of affairs and your affairs as well. If you are going to change something by a method other than revolution, first warn these very dependent people and ask their opinions - do they need all this?..
Step 2
There is no need to go with the transformations at once, with a running start. Reforms are a delicate matter, here you need a special attitude to the problem. First, get a good understanding of the current state of affairs. Answer the questions clearly: what am I going to change? why would I change it? what do I want to achieve by this? Make a list of what you will lose and what you will gain, and assess, as objectively as possible, whether the game is worth the candle.
Step 3
The next step is notification. Explain in detail to people who are dependent on you, who can, like you, benefit from the transformation or suffer, what you will do and how. Submit to the people a detailed plan of your actions and a list of what you will need to carry out reforms. Let them be confident in you, because the people are like that: if they resist, then you will not move them with any reforms. Explain to people that the organization needs reforms and, if possible, involve them in the design of the project.
Step 4
Reforms are transformations, and transformations are not done overnight. You can't throw all the old dishes off the shelves (and how would you like it, would you not?) And force a new one. Until you buy new utensils, you must have old ones in your kitchen, otherwise there will be nowhere to store food supplies. Therefore, include in your plan several stages of reform, which logically follow each other and are located so as to make the process of transition to a bright future the least painful.
Step 5
When the job is done, be sure to take care to maintain and strengthen the achieved result. The "treatment" you have carried out should not be allowed to negatively affect the state of the "organism" given to you in your care. Therefore, your labors will not end with the end of the transformation; many more sleepless nights and days of work await you. But the result is worth it - because cleverly executed, successful reforms are a constant path to prosperity.
