Biography
Svetlana was born in the Yaroslavl region, the city of Gavrilov-Yam on April 20, 1976. The real name of the actress is Golenysheva. However, later Svetlana began to use the pseudonym Galka, which was firmly entrenched in the minds of her fans.
The artist got into the creative environment in her early years. Her grandfather Valerian Viktorovich passed on his knowledge about art to Svetlana, who willingly accepted it. Valerian Viktorovich himself, despite his difficult fate and participation in three wars, was able to retain his humanity, kind and cheerful character. He generally possessed a creative streak, which is a good proof - his independent learning to play musical instruments (piano, harmonium).
At school, Svetlana led an active creative life. She danced and took part in various amateur performances. Later, under the guidance of a teacher, she became interested in literary art. Svetlana wrote excellent essays, and later took up writing poetry, actively manifested herself in the theatrical circle. With all this, the girl managed to go in for sports. She performed well in athletics competitions.
In the summer, her creative activity did not stop, she often staged performances. Her cousin and grandmother helped her in this. Svetlana and her sister were engaged in thinking over the script for the play, and grandmother Augusta Vasilievna took on the role of preparing the props.
By the end of school, Svetlana had a great idea of what profession she would like to connect her life with. However, the mother of the future famous artist did not support her childhood desire. At that time, Svetlana's mother was skeptical about the profession of an actress, considered it unpresentable and frivolous.
Svetlana did not go against her mother and entered the Pedagogical Institute of the city of Yaroslavl to receive a diploma as a teacher of Russian language and literature. However, after graduation, the girl never used it, handing it to her mother with the words: "Mom, I did what you wanted, now I will do what I want."
And she did. Immediately after receiving her first diploma, Svetlana entered the Yaroslavl Theater Institute for the acting department. During her studies, Svetlana managed to earn money on local television channels. At the same time, her modern pseudonym was fixed for the girl.
Career
After receiving the YAGTI diploma, Svetlana went to look for a job in Moscow. But that year was not so successful, there were few recruits for the troupes of Moscow theaters. Svetlana wanted to become an actress of the theater of Arkady Raikin, but this was not destined to happen either.
As a result, the actress began to work on television, from time to time played the role of a host at corporate parties. In addition, she worked part-time in various low-skilled jobs, for example, cleaning, promoter.
On television, the girl managed to get a job as the host of the Vesti-Moscow program and news on the Stolitsa channel. She also tried to work on the Kultura TV channel. However, later the girl was not enough, she really wanted to return to the profession of an actress.

Svetlana has not spared various television series, having played more than 15 roles in total. The girl took part in the filming of such series as "The Voronins", "Happy Together", "Moscow Three Stations", "Advocate", "Chapito" and others.
At the moment, Svetlana Galka is playing the role of psychologist Susanna Milovidova in the series Sklifosovsky. Prior to that, the actress appeared on the screen in the TV series "Grand". However, the parodist does not give up humorous shows either, having participated, for example, in the filming of the program "Thank God you came!". And in March 2019, she played the role of Anna, the wife of an official, in the play Italiano Amore and Little Misunderstandings.

Svetlana Galka considers her first love a boy in the 9th grade, to whom she read her poems. In return, he supported her and helped to reveal her talent.
