Vladimir Kondratyev is a Soviet and Russian journalist, one of the leading political observers of Russian television. A staff member of the NTV channel.
The prestigious modern profession made Kondratyev famous, although it is rather difficult to achieve recognition in this area. Her professional career started back in the Soviet Union.
Start of labor activity
The first page of the biography of Vladimir Petrovich was opened in Moscow in 1947. The future television personality was born on December 25. After school, the young man chose education at the Morris Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages. The applicant entered the Faculty of Translators.
Kondratyev showed himself to be a diligent and talented student. He was sent to study in the GDR. Vladimir in 1972 at the Karl Max University in Leipzig received the specialty of a journalist. The young man moonlighted as a translator, honing his skills. He was part of the delegation that accompanied Leonid Brezhnev on his last trip to Germany in 1981.
The TV journalist is married and has a daughter. The beginning of his working career was the USSR State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. Kondratyev worked as an editor. Then he was promoted in the Main Editorial Office of Radio Broadcasting to senior editor in Western Europe. After eleven years of activity, Vladimir Petrovich switched to the State Television and Radio of the country, choosing the information direction.
Then there was work in the TV program "Time". Three years passed in this way. Since 1986, Kondratyev was in charge of the German bureau of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He spent six years in Bonn. He was reporting on the fall of the legendary Berlin Wall. Then the journalist moved to the Ostankino State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He began managing the TV broadcasting department in Germany from 1992 to 1994.
Since August, Kondratyev started working on the NTV channel. Oleg Dobrodeyev invited him there. Together with Oleg Borisovich Kondratyev began his activity in the international project of the television program "Time".
When, after completing television activities in Germany, he received an offer to switch to NTV, Vladimir Petrovich did not hesitate. He was confident in a friend with whom he worked for a long time. Therefore, the TV actor refused the managerial position offered at the same time at ORT.
Permanent occupation
The famous TV personality did not regret for a minute about his refusal. Not much time has passed, the journalist has grown to become an observer of the news service, and has traveled all over the world. He rose to the position of the director of the NTV representative office in Berlin. Vladimir Petrovich also visited the position of deputy chief producer. He got the director's functions in the management of NTV programs during 1997-1998.
For five months the TV correspondent worked at the RIA Novosti news agency as deputy chairman of the board. He returned to NTV in August 1998. On the TV channel, Vladimir Petrovich still works as a columnist for the channel's information service. He has excellently established himself as a specialist who understands the activities of political parties, in the events related to the State Duma and the Kremlin.
The journalist usually covers events related to the political situation in the country. Activities in the pools of the president and the prime minister were recognized as honorable, but extremely difficult. Writing correspondents work there every day, and TV people change regularly. Work with a TV camera is carried out according to editorial needs. A decent reportage is needed, with the appearance of a correspondent in the frame, meaningful interviews. Everything is done quickly, “on the air”.
Kondratyev takes an active part in press conferences held by the President of the country. He prepared reports for the information programs "Today", "Results", "Personal Contribution", "Country and World", "Anatomy of the Day".
Together with Andrei Cherkasov, at the end of April 2007, he reported on the farewell ceremony with Yeltsin. At the 2015 Victory Parade, Kondratyev acted as a commentator with Vladimir Chernyshev. With the direct participation of Vladimir Petrovich, several television films have been created.

Reality at work
Vladimir Petrovich also took part in informal meetings held by the Prime Minister and the President with journalists. At these moments, the venerable figure is always annoyed that it is impossible to use the information received for instant airing due to the lack of a camera.
Since the beginning of the nineties, Kondratyev has remained the oldest correspondent for the popular TV channel. He is respected by TV people, journalists, the attitude to an experienced colleague is always polite, since he is recognized as an outstanding person on television.
Young correspondents refer to Kondratyev solely by their first name and patronymic. For certain achievements, workers of the press and television are given awards. In 1994 Vladimir Petrovich became an Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation. Kondratyev was awarded the Orders For Friendship and For Services to the Fatherland.
The journalist is a laureate of the Peter Benish Prize, a member of the national television academy. In 2015, Kondratyev was awarded the TEFI prize for his contribution to the development of domestic television. During his professional career, Vladimir Petrovich has witnessed many grandiose events.
He won recognition and fame. For all his achievements, a wonderful specialist and journalist does not think that he caught luck by the tail. He, as before, remains a sympathetic and modest person, a sincere and kind person.
