The existing school system of education is subject to systemic criticism. One of the specialists in the field of education and creativity is Ken Robinson. He proposes his project to update and modernize existing teaching methods.

His ideas are confirmed in many countries. The books, in which he shares his thoughts and experience, are sold in large circulation all over the planet. His range of interests is outlined in education research, creative thinking and innovation.
The future doctor of philosophy was born on March 4, 1950 in a large family. Ken was one of seven kids who grew up in a home surrounded by love and care. Parents at that time lived in the famous city of Liverpool. My father worked at a shipbuilding company. The mother was engaged in housekeeping. The head of the family wanted the child to become a professional football player. However, at the age of 4, the boy contracted polio. I had to part with the dream of football. At school, Robinson studied well. He graduated from the University of Leeds, where he studied cultural studies and pedagogy.
Professional activity
After graduating from the university, Robinson remained within the walls of his native university. He lectured to students and researched human creativity. Twelve years later, the scientist was invited to the post of director of the School of Art Projects, which operated in London. By this time, Robinson had already formulated the basic requirements that must be observed, that the talent in a person “woke up”. The owners of large corporations began to turn to the professor in the hope of getting a recipe for identifying the creative abilities of the staff.
Over time, Ken perfectly mastered the art of public speaking. He regularly and convincingly spoke at international events on the problems of creativity and the development of the human personality. One of the books that came out from under his pen "Recognition: How to find what you were created for" has been translated into 20 languages, including Russian. Robinson chaired the UK Government's National Education and Creativity Commission. He was invited to advise managers and government officials in Singapore.
Recognition and privacy
For his contribution to the development of the British educational system, Robinson was knighted by the Queen of Great Britain. The US government has awarded Professor Benjamin Franklin Medal.
Ken Robinson's personal life went well. He is a happy husband and father. The scientist is married. He has two children - James and Katie. Now he lives with his family in Los Angeles. His wife Marie-Therese always accompanies him on his travels around the world.
