Actors born in difficult war years have gone through a lot, have gone through many trials, and therefore they can tell people a lot - not with facts, but with their sense of life, their attitude towards it and their love for every moment, whatever it may be.
One of these actresses is Olga Frolovna Gobzeva. At present, her name is nun Olga. She took tonsure after a strange event in her life in 1992.
Biography
Olga Frolovna was born in 1943 in Moscow. Her parents were from Ryazan, all were peasants. However, there were also monks in the family, and the parents prayed so earnestly - as if they were servants of the Lord. This is despite the fact that Olga's father was a driver for various party officials.
The Gobzevs did not live poorly, but not rich either. Partly due to the fact that they never chased after wealth, and partly due to the large number of children - they had five children in their family. The parents remembered well the years of repression, and constantly prayed for the safety and health of their children. Olga Frolovna said that once she fell ill with severe pneumonia, and the doctors did not give hope that the child would survive. And the father believed and prayed all nights, and nevertheless begged his little daughter, saved her life.
At school, Olya studied in a circle of artistic words, thanks to this, she repeatedly won prizes in competitions for reading prose and poetry. Especially in those years, she loved Pushkin and could quote from him endlessly.
After school, Gobzeva entered VGIK, albeit on the second try. But she immediately began acting in films. Her first work was the short film "Hey, somebody!" After filming, she was praised by the director, and she believed in herself.
About cinema Olga Frolovna says that this is not work, not acting or acting - this is life itself. If a partner "lives" with you on the site - everything works out.
The best films of Gobzeva are considered "The Magician" (1968), "I am twenty years old" (1964), "Once upon a time twenty years later" (1980), "Wings" (1966).
The closest colleagues in their views on life were Oleg Dal, Yuri Bogatyrev, Vasily Shukshin.
Personal life
The first husband of Olga Gobzeva was the handsome Irakli Khizanishvili. They got married as soon as they graduated from VGIK. They lived happily for almost ten years, and then Irakli began to speak negatively about Russia, and this became the reason for the divorce.
The second marriage happened in 1973, her chosen one was Valery Martynov, an actor who, together with Olga, starred in the film "Every Day of Doctor Kalinnikova".
Olga Frolovna at that time was already a famous artist and a very beautiful woman. She had many fans, but Valery liked her more than others. They lived together for almost fourteen years, they have a son, Svyatoslav. Over time, their life together became not as interesting as at first, Olga had already begun to think about monasticism, and Valery left the family.
The incident that made Olga go to a nun happened in the theater. Gobzeva played a Spaniard, and when she looked in the mirror, she realized that she was so involved in the role that she even changed outwardly, and very sharply. She was scared that she had let another person into her. And how many such people are there in an acting life? And she decided to go to praise this act of hers before God.
Olga Frolovna lives at the dacha with her son's family, is engaged in social activities within the church.
