Step 1
Kissing dinosaurs. On the Sino-Mongolian border, there are two brontosaurus, merging in a kiss. This sculpture forms an arch over the road, it is 19 m high and 34 m wide. A kind of monument was built in honor of the dinosaurs who in the pre-glacial period inhabited these lands. The most famous giant lizard is the 8-meter Erlanezis, whose remains were discovered during excavations.

The dying lion. This is one of the oldest monuments in Switzerland, which is located in the city of Lucerne near the lake of the same name. The sculpture, 10 m long and 6 m wide, appeared as a result of the offensive of the rebels on the royal family. In 1792, a huge number of guardsmen died and this monument was created in their honor. He is a dying lion with a spear in his shoulder and a shield with a fleur-de-lis.

Tiger spring. The monument can be found near Lake Xihu, which is located in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. The sculpture depicts a sleeping monk surrounded by creeping tigers. The history of this attraction is rooted in ancient China. Sinkun, the head of the Tang dynasty, had a prophetic dream about two tigers scratching the ground and pointing to the place of a miraculous spring.

The Statue of Liberty. The most popular statue in the world is a symbol of America and is located in the city of New York. It stands on the small island of Liberty, not far from Manhattan. The monument depicts a woman holding a torch and a date plate. The date symbolizes the day of independence of the state and liberation from the shackles of Great Britain. The statue is made entirely of copper and rises 93 meters above the island. There are 7 rays in its crown, representing all continents on the planet.
Step 5
Statue of Christ the Redeemer. The monument in Rio de Janeiro is no less popular; today it is a symbol of the whole of Brazil. It was planned to erect the statue for the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the state's independence. But for some reason, the opening was postponed 10 years in advance. The height of the monument reaches 38 m, and the span of the arms is about 30 m. The sculptors depicted Christ with outstretched arms so that from a distance his figure would look like a cross.
Step 6
"The Motherland Calls!" The most famous Russian statue crowns the architectural ensemble at Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd. This monumental structure is one of the tallest in the world, its height is 85 m. The 52-meter image of a woman walking forward with a raised sword and calling her sons to repulse the enemy personifies the Motherland in need of protection. The country attached great importance to the monument. All forces were involved in its construction and, finally, on October 15, 1967, it was completely ready.
