Biography
Elena Dmitrievna Lenskaya was born in Ukraine on May 18, 1971. My father was an architect, my mother worked as an English teacher in a comprehensive school. Considering the professions chosen by Lena's parents, it is surprising that from early childhood the girl was fond of cutting and sewing. She sewed the first models of clothes at the age of four. Despite the fact that the wardrobe was sewn only for dolls, the outfits looked very dignified. By the age of 15, Lena had learned to sew almost professionally and sometimes altered clothes that her parents brought her from abroad.
In addition to the regular school, Lenskaya graduated from art and received two higher educations. The first was the Faculty of Journalism at Kiev University. Then Elena continued her education at the Moscow Open University.
Creativity and career
Elena Lenskaya took her first steps in business in 1994. The fashion designer decided to start on the market with a tailor shop for fur and leather clothes. The clothes were made exclusive and expensive. Thus, Lenskaya quickly became famous among the stars of show business, ready to pay a lot of money for costumes for concert performances in a single copy. The services of the designer were used by such media persons as: Angelica Varum and Leonid Agutin, Alla Dukhova, Sergey Zverev, Alexander Marshal and others.
In 1996, within the framework of the Intersharm project, the debut collection of clothes in the style called "kitsch-glamor" was shown in the Kremlin Palace. After a successful start, Elena Lenskaya released several fur collections at once.
The first contracts with stores for the sale of collections were signed by the Lenskaya atelier in 1997. The ability to correctly and on time to sell exclusive products helped the fashion designer to move to a new level. In 2002, Lenskaya began to develop jewelry made of precious stones. All of them are created exclusively according to her own sketches. A year later, the first workshops for serial sewing were opened. In 2004, Lena Lenskaya founds the Lenskaya Feather fashion house. From that moment on, Lenskaya's collections have been shown at Moscow Fashion Weeks.
Personal life
The musician Igor Sarukhanov became the first husband of Elena Lenskaya while studying at the university. However, the marriage was not destined to last long and in the late 90s the couple separated.
The second official husband was the singer Vladimir Presnyakov. But this relationship ended in divorce after five years.
Lenskaya is also credited with a whirlwind romance with the famous hockey player Alexander Ovechkin. Other relationships of the public person are not known.
