Biography and creativity

Karina Vladimirovna Reuka was born in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol (Zhdanov) on June 6, 1984. Her father was a military man, and therefore the family often had to move to a new place of residence. In her youth, Karina's mother began her professional career as a ballet dancer, but due to the birth of children (Karina also has an older sister) and moving to different cities, she devoted herself to taking care of the family. From the age of three, Karina dreamed of becoming a ballerina and an actress - like a mother.

The girl's school years were very eventful: she studied at the music school to play the piano and percussion instruments, sang in the choir, studied at the ballet studio - she mastered such dance directions as folk, classical and historical dance, modern jazz, and also attended theatrical circles.

After graduation, the girl decided to move to Moscow, where she made an unsuccessful attempt to enter GITIS - Vladimir Andreev, who was gaining a course, did not accept Karina due to speech problems, as a result of which she then had to work hard on diction for eight years and remove the accent …

Not getting into GITIS, Karina Reuka went to study at the courses of the First National School of Television, which she graduated in 2007 with a degree in TV and radio programs host. She did not become a TV presenter, but she gained experience of working with an audience and solved problems with diction. In parallel, she danced in such Moscow groups as the State Music Hall and the Golden Ring Theater under the direction of Nadezhda Kadysheva, and began acting in films. For thirteen years now she has been married and has a daughter, Milana. Karina met her future husband Vasily in a very funny way: on New Year's Eve, the actress, experiencing a shortage of movie roles, took up staging a New Year's performance for children, where she herself played the role of the Snow Maiden. For the role of Santa Claus, she wanted to invite a longtime acquaintance and colleague in the shop, but he referred to being busy and instead offered his friend from Yekaterinburg. Vasily was at one time a member of the KVN team, but did not become an actor. At that time, the young man needed a job, and gladly agreed to "earn extra money" as Santa Claus. For a whole week, Karina and Vasily traveled with their performance to Moscow schools and kindergartens, after which the actress received a marriage proposal.
