Elizaveta Nikishchina was born on May 17, 1941 in Moscow. The childhood of the future actress passed away from her parents: after the war, they left to rebuild Germany and took only two sons with them. Liza stayed with her grandmother in the Soviet Union.

After the 9th grade, Elizabeth decided to enter the studio that worked at the Stanislavsky Theater. The father did not welcome this decision: he considered the acting profession frivolous. The girl left home and settled in a hostel. She reconciled with her parents much later - when she herself became a mother.

The creative path of the actress

Elizaveta Nikishchina began her creative career in the theater. Success came to her after the play "Antigone", where she played with Yevgeny Leonov. After that, offers began to come in about work in the cinema. But the first roles in the cinema for Elizabeth were passing.

In 1966, the actress was noticed by the creative tandem of Vladimir Naumov and Alexander Alov. After meeting with the masters of cinema, Elizabeth starred in the film adaptation of Dostoevsky's story "A Bad Joke".

The roles that were subsequently offered to play the actress turned out to be somewhat one-sided. Her heroines were exotic, rustic and non-standard. With special pleasure Elizaveta Sergeevna played in children's films. The Soviet audience will forever remember her as an assistant to Professor Gromov in the serial film "The Adventures of Electronics".

In addition, Nikishchikhina starred in the films "And it's all about him", "Yesterday, today and always", "It's all about the brother." She happened to work on the set with Igor Kostolevsky, Larisa Udovichenko, Arkady Raikin, Georgy Vitsin, Alisa Freindlich, Vera Glagoleva.

Many people remember the image of a resident of a communal apartment in the Pokrovskie Vorota created by Nikishchikhina. And in the movie fairy tale "The Sorcerers" Elizaveta Sergeevna reincarnated as a member of the commission charged with checking the operation of the magic wand. Critics consider the role of Sobakevich's wife in the film Dead Souls very successful.

Nikishchikhina had a negative attitude towards the characters that she was offered to play in the 90s. She did not consider it possible for herself to embody ugliness and degradation on the screen. One of the roles that the audience remembered at that time was the image of Vera Zasulich created by Nikishchikhina in the TV series Split (1993).

Back in the 60s, Elizabeth met a promising musician Alexei Poznansky. It was going to the wedding. But after military service, the young man became disabled. Elizabeth did not leave the groom, she looked after him. She soon became pregnant. At this very time Nikishchikhina was offered a role in "Antigone". You had to choose between motherhood and the stage. Elizabeth chose the latter. She did not want to leave the child. Poznansky did not forgive her for this. Elizabeth and Alexey broke up.

Around the same time, Elizabeth met Ernest Leibov, who became the father of her daughter. But in 1975 Leibov moved to the United States. Nikishchikhina refused to go with him to a foreign country.
