Emotions give strength to a person every day. If they are pleasant, then they fill with energy and give satisfaction, and negative ones can unsettle for a long time. Emotionality is present in every person, but in different quantities. And it can manifest itself in different ways.

Instructions

Step 1

The level of emotionality of a person depends on her sensitivity. Ask your interlocutor any question that requires you to describe your impressions of a particular event. If his eyes "light up", violent gestures and facial expressions will appear, in front of you is an emotional person. But being too dependent on his own experiences, he can claim the increased attention of the interlocutor, who will have to listen to his colorful descriptions. This is one of those rare times when you are "allowed" to hear, but not listen. Since a conversation with an emotional person is often a monologue, nod from time to time and “dilute” it with the lines “Wow!”, “It happens,” “Well, well!”.

Step 2

If you have a couple of such storytellers around you, feel free to drop the conversation from time to time. But do not say that you “still have a lot to do today,” but name a specific responsibility that needs to be fulfilled. As a sensitive person, the interlocutor must "get into the position." Ask them not to call you during office hours, because the boss does not like this, and during this time you are engaged in your direct responsibilities. End the conversation firmly, but not abruptly. Do not forget that due to their emotionality, such people can take offense and even say a lot of unpleasant things. But they do not get angry for long - you can always call someone who has not yet heard about "this story."

Step 3

Emotional people are moody, selfish and very vulnerable. If they are in good spirits, give them a sincere compliment, and their mood will be even better. And if they're stressed or depressed, empathize or surprise them a little. But never let them control their own mood or personal time. Since their smile is quickly replaced by anger and vice versa, before you tell the unpleasant news for them, start by saying about the efforts that were made to avoid the trouble. If communication with super-emotional individuals becomes unbearable ("energy vampires", whiners, aggressive people), minimize it, reducing it to formal relationships, or stop altogether in order to preserve your own nervous system.
