With representatives of the law, you need to behave respectfully, but at the same time, preserving your dignity. If the police are showing an increased interest in you, consider whether you are committing any illegal actions. Remember that all citizens are subject to the presumption of innocence.

Step 1
The police officer should introduce himself to you before asking you any questions. You can ask him to do this in accordance with the Charter of the PPP, you also have the right to demand to present an ID. If you are in doubt or have any suspicions about the identity of a police officer, rewrite his details, this may come in handy.
Step 2
Now the employee will behave carefully, as you have shown knowledge of the laws and confidence in your position. Often, after such a request from a citizen, the police lose their interest in him.
Step 3
If the incident is not over yet, tell your relatives the details of the police officer. Ask to explain to you the reason for the interest in you, if the policeman has not yet done so. He can demand your documents if he has reason to suspect you of committing any crime or to consider you wanted. An employee of the teaching staff does not have the right to check the registration or residence permit, because this is the work of the FMS and district police officers.

It is the responsibility of the police officer to explain his requirements and tell about your rights and responsibilities. He, of course, can say that you look like a wanted person. In this case, it is better to show the documents. This can be a passport, foreign passport, driver's license, pass, student ID and other documents with your photo and stamp.
Step 5
Lawyers advise not to let go of your passport, as without a passport you will find yourself in a subordinate position. The confiscation of a passport by police officers is carried out in specific cases - upon arrest, upon conviction. If you do not have your documents with you, the police officer can take you to the police station for identification.
Step 6
Personal search can be carried out in the presence of attesting witnesses and with the obligatory execution of a protocol. In this case, the witnesses must be of the same sex with you. The police have no right to violate the integrity of your belongings. If you find something extraneous in your things, write about it in the detention report in the appropriate column.
Step 7
Do not tune in immediately to negativity and conflict, maintain a polite tone without hysterical shouts and threats to the police. Try to follow simple rules so as not to attract the attention of law enforcement.
Step 8
Always dress decently in clean, ironed clothes. Do not leave your home while intoxicated. A large luggage looks suspicious: a bag, a box, a bundle. Don't disturb public order.
