Biography

In 1954, on September 14, in Uzbekistan, a son was born into the family of the famous musician Ganidzhan Tashmatov, who was named Mansur. A child was born in a large family, besides him there are 6 more children. The mother took care of the children. The boy's father was a very talented and respected musician of the republic. He not only sang beautifully, played several instruments, but also composed many and fruitfully. He was the creator of not only songs, but also musical ensembles and orchestras. For many years he has directed various national orchestras of Uzbekistan. The boy's father opened many talented artists to his republic and country. But of his own children, only Mansour began to study music. In 1973, after graduating from high school, the young man entered the music department of the Tashkent Theater Institute and almost from the same time his musical career began.

Singer career

He began his career in an ensemble called "Synthesis". But he did not sing there for long. "Uzbek Concert" invites him to the then popular ensemble "Navo". Thanks to his excellent voice, Mansur was immediately noticed and nominated for the then famous and prestigious show jumping - "With a song through life", "Golden Orpheus" (Bulgaria). Having successfully performed at the Golden Orpheus in 1978, he received 3 festival awards and became a laureate. Such great success was brought to him by a song called "Russian Birches", with which he first performed at the festival of his country. This song became the most popular song in the USSR and, having entered the artist's repertoire, brought him additional fame. Thanks to his activity and voice, in 1979 he was awarded the prize of the Youth Organization of Uzbekistan. He manages to work in several musical organizations at once. He is a soloist of the State Television and Radio Orchestra and the SADO ensemble.

The young artist's musical activities are interrupted by service in the country's Armed Forces. But immediately after the end of his service (1982), he began to work in the Jizzakh Philharmonic Society of Uzbekistan. In the same year he organized the ensemble "Sangzar".

Tashmatov never stood still. After "Sangzar", a collective called "Faiz" appears. Carried away by jazz music, which was becoming fashionable, he began to work in the "Rainbow" collective, which existed at the Tashkent circus. Thanks to this, Mansur, together with the ensemble and circus collective, traveled to almost the entire large country of the USSR. They toured in the cities of the republics of the Soviet Union - Moscow, Yerevan, Frunze, Alma-Ata, Leningrad, Biysk, Tomsk, Sochi and many others. They went to concerts in socialist countries - Bulgaria, Mongolia, Hungary. At 32, he becomes an honored artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

After the collapse of the great country, the young artist continues to sing and work in his republic. Working in the Ministry of Defense, Tashmatov devotes himself and gives a lot of energy to the creation of a new song and dance ensemble. He served there until 1999. During the years of service in this ensemble, the artist visited many countries of the world: Poland, Switzerland, USA, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Romania. In all these countries the ensemble toured with great success.
