The ferry service between St. Petersburg and cities located on the coast of the North and Baltic Seas is widely used by Russian citizens for recreation and business purposes. How to book ferry tickets?
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a ticket for a cruise on the North and Baltic Sea at one of the travel agencies, which will take care of the entire organization, including booking ferry tickets. However, this method is the most expensive. However, the travel agency can also act as an intermediary between you and the Ferry Center.
Step 2
Contact the Ferry Center on your own. Its offices are located in Moscow (Shlyuzovaya embankment, 8, entrance 3, office 101) and in St. Petersburg (Vosstaniya st., 19).
Step 3
Book your tickets by calling the Ferry Center office. Phone in Moscow: (499) 678-21-62. Phones in St. Petersburg: (812) 327-33-77 (ordering ferry tickets); (812) 321-29-26 (ordering cargo transportation by ferry).
Step 4
Send an application to the Ferry Center by e-mail (center mailbox address: [email protected]) or go to the website www.paromy.ru and fill out the order form, which should contain:
- country and port of departure;
- country and port of arrival;
- departure date;
- the name of the ferry company (if you have any preferences);
- cabin class;
- the number of passengers and vehicles;
- your name, phone number, e-mail address;
- place and form of payment.
Specify additional travel conditions, if necessary (food, hotel, train and air tickets booking).
Step 5
If 14 days before departure you have not paid for the order (in cash at the Ferry Center office, by credit card or through the ASSIST electronic payment system), then the reservation will be canceled.
Step 6
Contact one of the ferry companies directly online. For example, to the Finnish company Viking Line (https://www.vikingline.fi/info/russian.asp), which is popular with Russian tourists and business people, or to the Russian company ST. PETER LINE (https://www.stpeterline.com/ru/Home.aspx).
