The birth of a successful writer

The novel was named the best book of the year. For eighty weeks, the book remained the most widely read in Ireland. It has been translated into forty-six languages and has been read by over five million people. The work was filmed by the Miramax company. Film work was also awarded several awards.
Boyne's favorite hero was Mathieu Zell. A special place in his work is given to science fiction. For the first time the hero appeared in "The Thieves of Eternity". Inspired by the Jane Eyre novels, Boyne wrote the gothic composition Haunting Here. In addition to the classic Gothic intrigue, the work has an emphasis on the relationship between children and adults, hints of feminism, a thirst for life despite the circumstances. In the story of Eliza Kane, after her father's departure, she decides to go to work as a teacher away from London. She is immediately disappointed with both the environment and the working conditions. But the assassination attempt on the girl at the station is only the beginning of her misadventures. Explaining the mysterious phenomena at the Godlin Hall estate is beyond the power of sane people.
The novel "The Absolutist" shows passion, love, masculinity, loneliness and sacrifice. Events begin in 1919. Tristan leaves for the outback to hand over the letters of a comrade in arms. But it is not this that torments Tristan, but the secret that he cannot share with anyone.
All of Boyne's works seem to transport the reader in time, forcing them to feel the era, the characters of the heroes.
John lives in Dublin. His personal life is carefully hidden from prying eyes. The writer tells only about his works. He works hard as a coordinator at Waterstone's, one of Dublin's bookstores.
