Julia Mackenzie is a British actress, singer and theater director. She is known to viewers as the leading role in the TV series "Miss Marple by Agatha Christie." She also starred in Cranford, Jack and the Bean Tree: A True Story, Purely English Murders and The Scandalous Diary.
Biography and personal life
The full name of the actress is Julia Kathleen Mackenzie. She was born on 17 February 1941 in Middlesex County, UK. Julia married actor Jerry Hart in 1971. A daughter and a son were born in their family. Mackenzie's husband died in 2018.
Julia played Miss Adelaide in the 1982 play Boys and Dolls. She co-starred in the 1994 production of Sweeney Todd as Mrs. Lovett. For her work in the theater, she received the Laurence Olivier Prize.
