Family, early years
Irina Konstantinovna was born on August 22, 1927. Her hometown is Tula. Irina's father is a researcher, he worked in the meteorological service. Mother was an archivist. The little girl was often taught by her grandmother and aunt. Thanks to them, Ira learned to read and write early.
During the war, she independently studied the high school program. After school, Skobtseva began her studies at the University of Moscow, choosing the Faculty of History. Art history became her specialty.

Creative career
After graduation, Irina was admitted to the Film Actor's Studio Theater. She made her screen debut as a student. Personal life
As a student, Irina met Alexei Adzhubeev, a student at the Faculty of Journalism. The marriage lasted 4 years, then Alexei went to Khrushcheva Rada, the daughter of the secretary general.
In 1955, on the set of Othello, Irina had an affair with Sergei Bondarchuk, a partner on the set. In that period, the actor was married to Makarova Inna. 4 years later, Sergei and Irina got married. The marriage lasted until the death of Bondarchuk. There were many rumors about this relationship, the couple had many ill-wishers.
Skobtseva has two children - Alena and Fedor. Alena became an actress, she died in 2009 from cancer. Fedor became a famous actor and director. Irina Konstantinovna has grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a hobby, she collects literature about theater, cinema, actors.
