Biography and career of Valery Alexandrovich Shalny
On April 8, 1956, the future idol of millions of fans of his acting talent was born in the capital of the Urals. Valery Aleksandrovich recalls his childhood only in the aspect of “terrible poverty and want”. His mother worked at a city license plate factory, and he practically does not remember his father. Serious alcohol dependence of the parent led him to the LTP, where he was treated for his illness for a long time to no avail. And at the age of eight, his son, he completely disappeared from his life.
Valera's natural penchant for acting led him to the factory drama club and protected many of his peers from the hooligan fate. And after receiving a certificate of secondary education in 1973, Shalny immediately went to conquer Moscow, where he was admitted to the course of Vasily Markov at the Moscow Art Theater School. After graduating from his university in 1977, Valery Alexandrovich, on the recommendation of his teacher Alla Pokrovskaya, began to serve in the capital's Sovremennik. It was these theatrical stages that until 2011 were the second home for the People's Artist of Russia.
In his native theater, Shalny made his debut immediately with the title role in the play "Feedback", staged based on the play by A. Gelman. And then there was the image of Lyamin in the play "UFO" and many other striking characters, into which the talented actor harmoniously reincarnated during the thirty-four years of his creative career.
Valery Shalnykh also made his cinematic debut in 1977, when he first appeared on the set of the Isotope Cafe as Valery Orlov. Currently, the filmography of the popular actor contains many successful film projects, the list of which is closed by "Waltz-Boston" (2013).
Personal life of the artist
Behind the shoulders of the family life of Valery Shalnykh, there are currently three marriages and two children. The first wife of the actor was the theater critic Elena Levikova. This matrimonial union lasted from 1979 to 1982.
The second time Valery went to the registry office with Natalia (Sovremennik's accountant). The conjugal idyll lasted from 1983 to 1985. The couple had a daughter, Ekaterina (now an economist), in 1984.
His last marriage was registered in 1990 with the People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2002) Elena Yakovleva. In 1992, the couple had a son, Denis (actor).
