Nikita Tryamkin is a hockey player of domestic origin, acting as a defender. He is a pupil of the Ural hockey. It is known not only to Russian fans of this puck game, but also to overseas specialists.
Nikita Andreevich Tryamkin is a dimensional hockey player more than two meters tall and weighing more than one hundred kilograms. This hockey "giant" was born in the village of Istok, Yekaterinburg region on August 30, 1994. The Ural is known in the sports world as a region where hockey is given special attention. Young Nikita was filled with love for this sport, from an early age he began to skate. The excitement in the eyes of the boy and his desire to play were the reason to send the child to the children's hockey school in Yekaterinburg.
The beginning of Nikita Tryamkin's career
Nikita Andreevich's career began at the Avtomobilist youth club Avto. In 2011, the defender was already allowed behind the main team of the Yekaterinburg youth team. The season 2011 - 2012 Tryamkin could bring to his asset as the first successful year in his sports biography. As part of the regular season, the defender played 60 matches, hit the opponent's goal three times and assisted partners nine more times. Nikita made a significant contribution to getting "Auto" into the playoffs. In the elimination matches in his first season, Tryamkin had nine meetings, did not score with effective actions, but scored eight penalty minutes.
Tryamkin's second season in the Youth Hockey League turned out to be more successful. Having played 28 games with high performance for the defender (8 goals, 10 assists and a usefulness index of +9), he was called up to the main team of Avtomobilist. Work in training, real hockey creativity soon allowed a promising player to break into the main team of the KHL club. On October 11, 2012, he made his debut in the main hockey league of the country in the match with the “army men” from St. Petersburg. By December 2012, the Avtomobilist coach had such confidence in the young player that the defender spent about twenty minutes on the ice per game on average.
Nikita Tryamkin played in the main adult team from Yekaterinburg until the 2015–2016 season. The talented defender was looked after by breeders from Canada, thanks to whom the Ural talent began a new season in the NHL Vancouver Canucks team.
Tryamkin's NHL career
In March 2016, a contract agreement was reached to transfer the tall defender from Avtomobilist to Vancouver. The first season did not turn out to be bright for the player. Difficult adaptation and still a young age made themselves felt. However, he was able to play 13 games in the best hockey league in the world, scoring once with a goal and an assist.
The next season for the Canucks was more successful for Tryamkin. He spent most of the "smooth" championship, played in 66 games. The Vancouver team did not make it to the playoffs.
In total, Nikita Tryamkin played 79 games in the NHL, scored three goals and eight assists.
The last two seasons (2017 - 2018 and 2018 - 2019) Nikita spent in Yekaterinburg in his native Avtomobilist.
Tryamkin's career in the Russian national team
Nikita Tryamkin was repeatedly called upon to defend the colors of the national team at the hockey rinks of the world. In 2014, he became the bronze medalist of the youth championship of the planet. For the senior national team, the defender played at the 2018 World Cup. This tournament for the Russians ended unsuccessfully. Ilya Vorobyov's team took only sixth place.
Nikita is married to the beautiful Anastasia, who also goes in for sports. The defender's wife is a bronze medalist of the world figure skating championship.
