Childhood and youth

Sergey Vladimirovich Mazayev was born on December 7, 1959 in Moscow. From childhood, little Seryozha fell in love with music so much that he could sit at home for hours and play music, while his friends played football on the street. However, the boy's family was not at all opposed to the peculiar seclusion of his son, and at the age of 11 he began to master the playing of the saxophone and clarinet, simultaneously studying vocals. All this happened against the background of studying in a simple physics and mathematics school. After graduating from school, Mazayev became a student at the music school named after. Ippolitov-Ivanov (now GMPI), where he continued to improve in playing the clarinet. After college, Sergei entered the famous "Gnesinka", where, in addition to the saxophone and clarinet, he mastered playing the trombone and horn.

After receiving higher education, Sergei had to say goodbye to civilian life for some time and go to serve in the army. In the military unit, where Mazayev served, they learned about the recruit's love for music and transferred him to a music company. Since then, his service, to the envy of many, was only a joy. As part of a military orchestra, the young man performed three times on the main square of Moscow.

At some point in his life there was so much music that the young man simply "burned out". Returning from the army, he decided to enter the economics department of one of the most prestigious universities in the country - Moscow State University. Soon, his old dreams returned to Sergei, and he, without a bit of a doubt, drops out of school and goes headlong into music.

Career in art

1979 was marked by the release of the legendary Soviet film "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed", in which Mazayev got the episodic role of a musician in a restaurant.

In 1983, Mazayev began work in VIA "Hello, song", from which he left two years later. In 1986, Sergei became a member of the then popular rock band "Autograph", with which he recorded 2 albums. Three years later, the musician leaves the group.

After a long wandering and searching for himself, a man becomes an integral part of the "Code of Moral". The name for the group was invented personally by Sergey. Before his arrival, it was called the "Diamond Arm".

In 1991, the debut disc of the "Moral Code" was published under the title "Concussion". The album brings the guys tremendous success, and the team begins touring not only in Russia, but also abroad. Moreover, the musicians have recorded several songs in English.

The group's discography includes 6 albums and 1 collection of previously published compositions.

Among other things, Sergei Vladimirovich starred in a dozen television and film projects, and also wrote music for several films and TV series.

Personal life

If we talk about the artist's personal life, then Sergei is a twice married man. Nothing is known about his first wife, since the man tried not to share any information on this matter with the public. It is only known that the couple had a child - a son, Ilya.

With his second wife Galina, Mazayev did much better. By the way, the woman is 18 years younger than her lover, however, this does not bother both of them at all. During their life together, the couple had two children: a son and a daughter.
