Biography
Dinara was born on December 17, 1980 in Baku in a musical family. This fact predetermined her future fate. Dinara Manafov's grandmother and grandfather Galina Ivanovna and Kazim Abasovich performed solo in the ensemble “Songs and Dances of Dagestan”. Her father worked as a make-up artist in the theater, while playing the piano and easily selecting melodies by ear. Mother worked at a music school at the choir department, although in her youth she chose an acting university for herself (GITIS). Later, due to the categorical position of her parents, she had to give up her dream.
Dinara came to vocal classes at the age of 13, and it was an optional training. The main lessons were piano lessons - it is in this direction that she will receive a diploma of graduating from a music school. After graduation, Alieva did not feel much confidence in her abilities (which is the "merit" of her first vocal teacher, who called Dinara weak-willed). She believed that as a vocalist she was something in between and would not be able to reach special heights. Nevertheless, she chose the vocal department for training at the Baku Academy of Music.
Dinara was educated by leading Azerbaijani teachers. But she considers the meeting with M. Caballe, which she happened to see during her studies in the magistracy, to be fateful for herself. The world celebrity noted the 24-year-old girl with the words: "I have nothing to teach you - everything is given to you from above."
Aliyeva began performing at the Baku Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Her repertoire included parts from Troubadour, La Traviata, La Bohème, etc. She began to travel abroad, and then took part in the competition. M. Callas in Greece. The audience applauded for the second prize Dinara for about twenty minutes. The public did not agree with the opinion of the jury, and Dinara is still especially warmly received in Greece and is considered “the second Maria Callas”.
Later in the life of Dinara Aliyeva, she met D. Matsuev, who introduced her to E. Obraztsova, and then invited her to various events. From this moment on, the conquest of the Moscow stage begins.
The singer was invited to the Bolshoi Theater and, after her debut in 2009, was soon enrolled in the state. Dinara's repertoire was constantly expanding, along with it the geography of the places where she had a chance to perform grew. According to the singer, the conquest of Moscow was not easy and simple. There was competition, big ambitions. But she understood that returning to her hometown would put an end to her further development and career.
Dinara is especially partial to Italian classical music, she sings parts from operas by Verdi, Puccini and others with special feeling.
The history of the theater is very important for the singer. One day in her career, there was an unexpected debut. Dinara was invited to replace the sick soloist in the production of Don Giovanni by the Vienna Opera. The exciting event went well - the audience received Aliyev very warmly, although they know practically all the games by heart and it is quite difficult to surprise her. They even took autographs, which really touched Dinara.
The geography of Aliyeva's touring cities is very extensive: the Czech Republic and Germany, Russia and Japan, the USA and Austria. It is impossible to list everything, but, despite her popularity, she is always glad to perform at home. Quite often, residents of Baku see their countrywoman on the stage of their theater, sometimes in the company of world stars.
Since 2015, Dinara Aliyeva has been holding her own opera festival, Opera Art. In April 2019, this international cultural event was held for the third time. Usually, the festival hosts performances by eminent and novice vocalists, meetings, master classes and gala concerts. The singer notes that in Russia now the attitude towards such events has changed noticeably, opera music is more and more capturing the public.
Already being famous, in all interviews D. Alieva notes that she has two hometowns - Baku and Moscow. The first is the city of childhood and the beginning of a professional path, where many relatives and dear people remain. The second is the city that gave the singer fame and allowed her to develop her career.
Personal life of Dinara Aliyeva
Dinar Aliyev prefers not to advertise his personal life. It is known that the singer has a son, and the closest people and she herself live most of the time in Moscow. Aliyev sometimes goes on tour with his son, since it is very difficult to part with a loved one for a long time. In organizational matters, her mother and nanny, looking after her son, helps her a lot.
Due to the busy work schedule, the singer does not manage to relax as usual for many - to read, watch TV or a movie. And Dinara considers work to be her hobby.

From the very beginning of her career, Dinara regularly receives awards and titles as recognition of her talent. Her data were noted in international competitions held under the patronage of G. Vishnevskaya, E. Obraztsova, F. Vinyas, P. Domingo, etc. She bears the title of Honored and People's Artist of Azerbaijan. Member of the Union of Concert Figures of Russia.
Dinara Aliyeva is sure that in order to achieve something in life, you need to set yourself ambitious goals. For her, such an incentive was the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. The singer has already achieved this goal. Now she plans to enter the history of music and "touch the souls of people with singing and skill."
