Alexey Vladimirovich Kolomiytsev was born in 1972 in Ukraine on the territory of the small town of Nikopol, located in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a child, Alexey thought about his future. Since childhood, he dreamed of playing in the theater, making music. His parents took him to a music school. He paid special attention to playing the guitar, therefore, having received a general education, he entered the Dnepropetrovsk School of Music. Alexey studies in the department of folk instruments, specializing in "guitar".
Studying in the second year of the school, Alexei is taken to the Soviet army. Since 1990, he has been doing a two-year military service in Berlin, where he continues to study music. This is facilitated by his participation in a military band. In the ranks of the Soviet army, Alexei continues to work on his musical data, plays wind instruments, becomes a vocalist. Upon returning from the army, the young man is restored to the school and graduates in 1995, having received an education in two specialties at once - guitar and vocals.
Since 1995, Alexey has been receiving a higher musical education at Kharkov State University. Here his theatrical career attracts his attention. He becomes a student of the directing department.
Creativity and career of Alexey Kolomiytsev
Studying at the university did not prevent Alexei from participating in theatrical performances as a vocalist. His career began with work in the theatrical collective "Kozaki - Cossacks". Then, as a member of the Gamma ensemble, he became a laureate of the International Jazz Festival. After graduating from the directing department in 2001, Alexey begins work as a director at the Kharkov State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, and then at the Kharkov Musical Comedy Theater. At the same time, the famous musician became a teacher at the conservatory.
Alexey Kolomiytsev received the greatest popularity after several sensational international competitions. In 2003 he took part in the Austrian director's competition, proposing a new concept for the production of the play "Goffman's Tales". Then he won the competition for young art masters. Thanks to his participation in various competitions, the musician gains immense fame. However, his work does not end with training young personnel. In 2005, Alexei created his own theater - the Theater of the Outcast. Its uniqueness consisted in the fact that not only outstanding young professional actors appeared on the stage of the theater, but also people with disabilities. His theatrical musical performances were distinguished by their originality and originality, for which Alexei received the title "Theatrical rebel".
Currently, Alexey Vladimirovich continues to engage in musical and directing activities. Since 2015, a new theater has been operating in Odessa - "Theater of Alexei Kolomiytsev" - created with the help of his associates.
