Every literate person born in the West knows that the East is a delicate matter. Kind and hospitable people live in the mountainous country of Tajikistan. Folk songs sung by Nigina Amonkulova are understandable to guests without translation.
Starting conditions
In Tajikistan, they try to live according to the rules and precepts left by their ancestors. Here it is customary to treat elders with respect. Among the unconditional values, a large family takes the first place. The famous singer Nigina Amonkulova was born on January 30, 1986 in the city of Penjikent on the territory of the Tajik SSR. Four brothers and Nigina, the only sister, grew up in the house. The boys always took care of their sister and did not allow her to offend strangers. My father worked as a driver on an intercity bus. Mother worked as an accountant in a construction department.
On holidays and weekends, the family gathered in the shade of the vines and everyone listened to folk songs performed by their father. The house was often visited by my great-grandfather, who also had a good voice and played the ruboba masterly. From an early age, Nigina tried to sing along with her elders and easily memorized the songs that her father sang. When the girl grew up, all the neighbors gathered to listen to her singing. As is customary, grateful listeners wished her to become a singer. The girl herself treated such wishes without special attention. She wanted to become a doctor.
The way to the stage
At one time, the child did not attend a music school. Nigina doesn't even know musical notation. After the tenth grade, she decided to get a specialized education and entered a medical school. At the graduation party, she sang a song that she composed herself, called "Farewell to School." During her student years, Amonkulova was regularly invited to festive events, where she sang folk songs in the retro style. It is important to note that Nigina always prepared very carefully for going on stage. I chose fabrics of certain colors, came up with costumes and sewed myself.
A decisive event in the creative biography of Amonkulova was the Andaleb-2006 folk song festival, which was held in Dushanbe. The singer came to the capital with an ensemble and sang the song "On the River Bank". The jury unanimously awarded her the main prize. This was followed by an invitation to take a course at the directing department at the famous Institute of Arts named after Tursunzade. A year later, after graduating from medical school, the singer moved to the capital. She was given an apartment and a car. Nigina began performing as a soloist with the Daria ensemble.
Prospects and personal life
How the singer lives, and what events she plans to attend, is told in the media. In the capital, Nigina did not change her style. She continues to perform in bright outfits in which the national flavor is easily guessed. She has recorded several albums and plans to increase their number.
In Amonkulova's personal life, everything is fine. She got married. She gave birth to her first-born son. Her husband supports her in her creative endeavors and tries to help her in every possible way.
