short biography

Vince Vaughn was born into the family of a failed livestock breeder on March 28, 1970, in the state of Minnesota. He was the third child, two girls were already growing up in the family. In this family, children were called only with the letter "B" - Valerie, Victoria, Vincent.

Breeding animals did not bring good profits, so the head of the family went to work on the railroad. To feed the family, my father had to work in other places, having tried different professions: in a mental hospital, in a factory and in a children's store. Vince's mom was selling real estate, but things were not going very smoothly there either. True, sometimes, she had successes, unlike her husband.

Both mother and father were believing Christians, but, in addition, Vaughn Sr. attended the Protestant community, and his wife attended a Catholic church. Their children had to be torn between the two religions. They had different life priorities, so it's no surprise that Vince's parents broke up peacefully as the kids grew up.

Vince Vaughn maintained good relations with both parents and even occasionally invited his father to play small roles in his projects.

Choosing a path

As a child, Vince Vaughn was a very active and mischievous child. In order to somehow calm down his restless nature and direct energy in a useful direction, the parents assigned their son to study in several institutions at once. He attended school and three sports sections: baseball, wrestling, and American football.

Vince also attended the theater club at his school, where he learned to perform on stage and sing. But his sporting successes motivated him the most and gave directions to the future.

However, 1987 completely changed the young man's plans and interests: Vince got into a car accident and was seriously injured. Sport went to the last resort, but irrepressible energy demanded an exit. And he was found: the young man completely devoted himself to theatrical activity.

Actor's career

After graduating from high school, Vince starts working as a TV presenter on a local channel. Soon he received offers to appear in commercials. His impressive height and attractiveness make him a fairly high-paying model. Vince is getting cramped in his hometown: ambitions have grown and he wanted fame in the field of the film industry.

Then came the shooting in the fantastic film by Steven Spielberg "Jurassic Park - 2. The Lost World". The remarkable cast of the film did not embarrass Vince, he felt himself among such world celebrities as Juliana Moore, Pete Postlethwaite and others.

The film was nominated for an Oscar and grossed over six hundred million dollars.

In 1998, Vince Vaughn's filmography was replenished with filming in the psychological drama "Cool Dry Place", the thriller "Force Majeure" and the horror film "Psychosis".
