Alexander Vladimirovich Zotov is a famous Russian footballer representing the Yenisei football club. Plays as a midfielder. He played for the Russian national team under 21.
Biography
The future footballer was born in August 1990, on the twenty-seventh, in the small Russian village of Askiz, which is located in Khakassia. When Alexander was little, his family moved to first to Neryungri, and then to Moscow, where he began to master the skills of a football player. Zotov was an active child and wanted to play sports. He especially enjoyed playing football. For a long time, parents could not decide where to give their son. On the screening in one of the best clubs in the country, FC Spartak, they were lucky, Alexander was able to impress the team's coaches and was admitted to the youth squad of Spartak.
Career
Until 2008, Alexander played exclusively for the youth team of Spartak. In that year, he signed the first professional contract of his career and made his debut for the main team in November. It was then that he made his first appearance in the international arena, he was announced for the UEFA Cup matches against Dynamo Zagreb, Tottenham London and the Dutch NEC. In total, in his debut season, Zotov played four games on the field.
For five seasons, Alexander tried to take a place at the base of Spartak, but he never managed to prove to the coaches that he deserves to be an important player in the club. In early 2011, Zotov was sent on loan to the Zhemchuzhina football club from Sochi, which played in the lower ranked championship (FNL). In six months, he appeared on the field 18 times and even scored a goal. Unfortunately, the club could not withstand the enormous financial burden and was removed from the competition. Alexander returned to "Spartak", where he played out the rest of the season, appearing on the field in the colors of "red and white" seven times.
Since the new season, he again went on loan, this time to the Tomsk club "Tom". Having played there one season, Zotov moved to Yaroslavl, where he played for the local club "Shinnik". In 2014, having failed to gain a foothold with Spartak, he again went to another club on loan, this time to Tula, to defend the colors of the local club Arsenal. For all the years of traveling, he appeared on the field 171 times and scored eight times by scoring an opponent's goal. When Alexander's contract ended, the Spartak management did not renew the agreement with him, and Zotov moved to Dynamo Moscow as a free agent.
But even there, Alexander did not become a base player, in 2018 he was rented by the Krasnoyarsk Yenisey, and a year later the Siberian club finally bought the player. Alexander continues to play for this team. The footballer is happy in his personal life - he has a charming wife Daria and a little son Timofey.
Sports achivments
In 2011, the famous footballer of Spartak won the silver medal in the national championship. The next year he also received a silver award, but already within the FNL, playing for the Tomsk club "Tom". In the 16/17 season, he won the FNL gold, playing for Dynamo Moscow.
