Emily Jane Browning is an Australian actress, model and singer. She became popular after the release of the film "Lemony Snicket: 33 Misfortunes", where she played one of the central roles - Violet and received an AFI award for her. And for her role in the film "The Ghost Ship" the actress was awarded an award from the Australian Film Institute.

Childhood
Emily was born in Australia in the winter of 1988. Since childhood, the girl was engaged in creativity and loved everything related to art, music, dance and cinema. Emily has two more younger brothers and all three children were raised with love and respect. They were allowed to make their own decisions and do what they were passionate about.
While studying in high school, Emily devoted a lot of time to creativity. She started performing early on stage in school plays and dreamed of becoming a famous theater and film actress. The first role was followed by new projects. Emily starred in The Man Who Sued God, and then she was invited to the film Lemony Snicket: 33 Misfortunes. She has worked on set with such famous actors as Billy Connolly and Jim Carrey. The girl was completely delighted with Kerry and with great difficulty kept herself from laughing, thinking that she would not be kicked out of the set. For her role in this film, Emily received several awards from the Australian Academy of Film and Television, as well as the Critics' Choice and Young Actor Awards.
